That is true. While I have questions about the man’s guilt, the way he has handled it really pisses me off, and that is why I say resign.

I must agree though that something fishy does surround the case.

This should help the media to avoid the Hillary scandals.

Yes, but Craig admitted that their feet clashed and that he was reaching under the stall.

For somebody with the sense of humor to come up with a screen name like that, you take me way too seriously. I’m just the clown that his been hired to entertain at this party.

Nobody drowned in that men’s room. Maybe Craig was expecting that when he resigned, some of the fornicators, adulterers, and murderers in the Senate would be shamed into resigning also.

Heck, I bet 90% of senators have ‘issues’. At least Craig was a voice for conservatism (except on immigration...). I love all the ‘sinless’ casting stones.

Larry Craig (talking to himself):
It’s been 4 days. Do you think the voters have forgotten yet? Yes, I think so. Probably they have. OK, then, I’m calling the resignation off.

“He changed the speech even though this phone call never made it to the right place.”

Actually it must have occured in the past few days.

I know what he’s talking about about Spector. By chance I saw him on one of the Sunday shows for a moment. Spector supported Craig..I was a little surprised, paid more attention, basically the words were from not a best pal’s perspective but a lawyers perspective that Craig should have fought.

Moot point in regards to the individual and their good judgement or lack thereof. Whose to say Clinton wasn’t set up. Whose to say Condit? Ladadee ladada. The point is these losers allowed themselves to be compromised. I harbor no illusions that each and every US Senator is checked into by at least a dozen agencies, 3/4 of which or probably extra-governmental. Israel for sure keeps tabs on all our heavy hitters. But that’s the point. Either you’re up for the job or you’re not. Bush for all his speaking ineloquence and blinders with immigration is a man of principle. He’s not sowing any wild oats while holding down an important position of authority. this is exactly why and how dems can be exploited with respect to their electability to high office. Are they above reproach? that should be the number one debate question to answer, are you and how so.

Undoing his resignation could require even more skill at tap dancing than even Gene Kelly could muster.

Specter, Hatch and Condit all look like they are into creepy kinky things. They just look perverted. Ish.

I'm starting to wonder how many freaks are in Congress. Fifty percent? Eighty percent?

This isn’t new. He DID say it was his “intent” to resign on Sept. 30th. This voicemail is from before the press conference last week.

Larry Craig did not say he was picking up toilet paper off the floor; he said he picked up a piece of paper.

Like I said, if there is no room for a felon, the GOP should demand resignation of all democrat felons. BTW, Craig is NOT a felon, he pled guilty to a misdemeanor, an extremely minor charge. Ted Kennedy killed a young woman and left the scene.

Poor judgment? 90 out of the 100 would have to resign.

Tell that to Drudge, Fox, etc. It’s new to the public.

But the idea of a senior policeman just happening to be on hand to make the bust makes the whole thing sound fishy to me.

He pleaded guilty. If he won't go willingly, politically speaking, throw him under the bus.
