OMG I can’t believe this............they wouldn’t dare!! Talk about turning DEI into a parking lot, that would be the last straw. I mean really!
************************
There is also a possibility, a very real one according to some, that Earnhardt may wake up Sunday morning without a ride for the rest of the season.
Because Saturday nights race at Richmond might be the last one for Earnhardt Junior at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated at least for the foreseeable future.
Sources close to Dale Earnhardt Incorporated indicate that there are no provisions in any contract with Earnhardt Junior that would prevent the team from pulling him from the No. 8 should he not make the Chase for the championship.
In fact they said, that very real possibility exists and is being seriously discussed.
How would DEI benefit by jerking Jr? What would be their reasoning?
Payback?
Getting their top tier driver in a few races?? Ragan lol
Getting the teams ready for next year with new CC whomever that may be.
I imagine such a move would make MM a little uncomfortable.
Payback? Man thats about as bad as JPM taking Jr. out tonight. (not a real popular move)
I mispelled his name Ragan = Regan Smith
Also wonder if DEI could just be letting this out to poke Jr. That would be a crappy thing to do, but I wonder...
I don’t see it as a bad thing. Jr could concentrate on his Busch team or start R & D testing at Hendricks. Don’t you think between the 24, 48, & 5 stables they could pull out a competitive car?
We’ve surmised Rick could give him that R&D car to run as JRM Cup car to get ready for next year.
Problem solved eh?
Did you see Tradin’ Paint?
It will be interesting to see how hard NASCAR tries to rig it to get JR in the Chase. If they didn’t they be stupid. Big bucks.
Yep :) What will be will be, we have no control over what happens over there now.
But Elvis WILL be in the building tonight. I think he would have liked that.
That’s ridiculous...........they would have had to start a long time before tonight.
And I might add that they would not have penalized him 100 points for the bracket attaching the rear wing earlier this year at Darlington. That was the first 100 point penalty for the COT, so they set a precedent with him.
Thanks for the WooHoo Ping!
