This yachtsman will definitely be known as Wrong Way Flanagan from now on.

Adrian Flanagan is discussing with Russian authorities the possibility of using a nuclear-powered icebreaker to lift his boat out of the water and carry it round the most icebound stretch of Russia's Northern Sea Route.

That'll really do his environmentalist friends proud.

To add to the irony, Flanagan who seems to be destined to go down in history as Wrong Way Flanagan, is now pleading with Russian authorities to provide him with the services of a nuclear powered icebreaker to get him out of his embarrassing situation.

He ought to call Algore. After all, he's the loud mouth who's been proclaiming this for years.

Besides the arctic ice, Wrong Way Flanagan now appears to have another problem. Remember those polar bears that Global Warming activists were warning us were endangered? Well, it now seems that the tables have been turned and those endangered polar bears are now endangering Flanagan

(thanks, Mr. Larson!)

This is almost as rich as those two lady “explorers” that were going
north this spring “to publicize global warming”.

IIRC, they had to turn back from their arctic trek when the weather turned
cold and batteries failed for some devices.
(there were some rascally posts here at FR speculating on what those
devices actually were).

And needless to say, the ladies didn’t fall through heat-thinned ice
because it was plenty cold!

But now he can start complaining about “climate change” which is the way to win no matter which way the temperature goes. It’s man-made pollution all the way, cold or hot. Idiots.

LOL! Hilarious! I’ve just posted your blog so that some liberals I debate this stuff with can see it. They’ll probably be furious, and they’ll say just to give it a few more years.

This guy must be a member of D.U.

OTOH, I will worry a little less for a while about polar bears starving.
