I’ve told you a thousand times, don’t exagerate. Let’s see. At 12’/lane, that would accommodate 220 lanes. Accounting for shoulders, take away 10 lanes on each side leaves 200 lanes. Now a median (a barrier wall, 24’ high to separate the lane flow (hmmm, sounds like a security fence)), and that leaves about 190 lanes of traffic??????

Reading ability for one thing.
Recheck my original post. The [it goes from deep into Mexico to Canada and is a half mile wide here in the US.] is a quote from someone else's post.
I do recall, however, that some of the rights-of-way for the SH have been stated in other articles to be that wide of an area. In some areas, where the ports are going to be, would require a wide right-of-way.
I did notice that your response provided no links to justify you condemnation of the original statement. The onus is on you to provide a link that disproves the 1/2-mile wide statement.
