Targetting Mecca SHOULD be an option. However I doubt that Tancredo would pull it through if he had his finger on the button. His remarks are in the same league of “tough soundbites” as Obama’s remarks on attacking Pakistan.
Talk is easy.

That being said, I personally am not opposed to targetting Mecca. But we know it’s not going to happen. Not yet at least.

In fairness, though, 16% and third place is a good showing for Paul.

In his own home state it's terrible.

We wuz robbed! Let’s sue somebody!!!

Ah yes, the gloating begins.

I wish nothing but the best for Hunter, and if he's nominated, I'd walk through hot coals to vote for him.

There's no need to denigrate Paul though based on the actions of a few dozen radical supporters of his.

Are you, a Paul supporter, actually labeling Hunter a protectionist? WOW, the pot and the kettle metaphor wouldn’t begin to state the obvious audacity of that statement.

You’re right, everyone should worry Paul got 16% of the vote, but then 15% of the population is mentally ill and who is more deserving of their vote than the Pied Piper of the Loons?

I think the smart thing would be for Tancredo to drop out and support Hunter. It’s a logical choice for him. He’s a strong conservative but he comes across as a loudmouth.

I have to agree. Although I don't necessarily agree with Rep. Paul on the foreign policy issues, he does have a strong grass-roots campaign, even if it has been somewhat hijacked by a few crazies. Third place is a decent finish for Rep. Paul, considering I don't think he's going for the GOP nomination.

Al-Queda loves Ron Turd.

Yeah, sure they do pal.

You know, some of you people here just flat-out disgust me with these same-old smear tactics and lies.

You better pray to God that Paul doesn't run as a 3rd party or independent and throw the election to Hillary. So keep beating your chest trashing him and you're going to get what you deserve.

He lost because he stood at our meeting this morning and told us that we had no business in Iraq.

One of the outsider protesters had a sign for a Paul-Kucinich ticket!

His followers were rude and irritated the rest of us. They would admit to never protesting democrats, abortion or in favor of any other conservative value. I caught one woman on the street trying to talk a man into “registering Republican” to vote for Paul. He said he could never do that, he would never vote Republican. (I explained we don’t register by party in Texas.)

Over all the Paulers were often ill-kept, reportedly tried to buy some of the delegate’s badges (so they could vote), put their signs in front of other peoples’ signs, blocked the video screen, wasted a couple of tons of paper, carried around a coffin and displayed tombstones, refused to applaud praise for the troops or hope for victory and then booed a video of the vice president.

“Hunter and Tancredo are so similar in their stances but look how widely spaced they are.”

Hunter has a lot more experience.

Some supporters of Paul behaved rather abominably in Ames, Iowa not all that long ago...There’s a pattern developing here....

On another note, nice work by Mr. McKinney. 28 votes, ahead of both McCain and Brownback combined (note to John and Sam: you may want to consider throwing in the towel). I know he may not have a realistic shot at the GOP nod, but at least this raises his profile a bit if he does want to enter state politics or the like.

Congrats, Ray.

Hunter also seems to have better rapport with hispanics for some reason. I think they respect the fact that he doesn’t pander to them.
