Brian DePalma (Reality ruined his Birthday)
September 1, 2007 | new yorker 77

Posted on 08/31/2007 11:25:21 PM PDT by new yorker 77

Brian DePalma was born on SEPTEMBER 11, 1940.

Brian DePalma has decided to do what most liberals are afraid to do and that is to tell the truth about who they are and what they believe.

Liberals hate the American soldier.

Liberals hope for more dead troops if it results in their gaining power.

Liberals will lie repeatedly in order to get their way.

Liberals pretend to support the troops as they call their performance in Iraq a failure.

Liberals only find value in reporting on troops in Iraq when their either DIE or 'SCREW UP'.

The Daily DEAD FAILURE REPORT from Iraq is lauded by anti-American leftist traitors on a daily basis.

Now DePalma, a man who clearly hates and hopes for more dead American troops, has decided to lie about troops in Iraq by claiming that they are all murderers and rapists.

The liberals are inserting the knife deep into the back of the American soldier.

It is time to fight back against traitors like Brian DePalma, Dick Durbin, Ron Paul, Harry Reid, Nancy pelosi, Hillary Clinton and other supporters of terrorists against our troops.

Take the power away from these hate-filled leftists in the next election.

The lives of the American soldier depend on it.

Brain DeEmbalma probably enjoys his birthday more since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

I don't know what prompted this, but DePalma is a total hack. If you see anything remotely creative in one of his movies, it is more than likely a rip-off of a homage to an earlier, vastly superior film.

DePalma put out a move about US soldiers raping and murdering a 14 year old Iraqi girl. That’s all this creep can see.

Wow. What was the name of the movie?

DePalma's a creep. His movies are all technique, no soul.

I liked Wise Guys, and Scar Face and the Untouchables. I liked Carrie and Dressed to Kill at the time but they have not aged well.

As for this thread- I took it as a reason to work Ron Paul’s name in.

The only DePalma movie I liked was Scarface. Some brilliant overacting in that movie!! :-) Great soundtrack too. The Untouchables is ok too.

Dude, if you’re going to posta vanity like this it should make sense.

“Take the power away from these hate-filled leftists in the next election.”

DePalma’s not running.

he’s a real POS...why not do a film about the majority of our great armed forces? Maybe because he’e left wing scum. He’d rather highlight the actions of a few bad people than celebrate the good.

Check our Drudge. DePalma’s new movie about the about the rape and murder of an Iraqi girl was shown at the Venice Film Festival. It left the audience “stunned”.

DePalma’s new movie about the about the rape and murder of an Iraqi girl

BTW, interesting to see he's remade "Casualties of War" with an Iraq setting this time.

I was watching a show on VH-1 about the gangsta hip-hop thug culture, and Scarface is the most popular film among the gangstas; it is considered the blueprint of the gangsta thug culture. Many murderers in prisons credit their love of Scarface in helping them perpetuate their ease and relishing of killing.

Thank you, Brian DePalma, for that wonderful piece of art. Other films, such as Natural Born Killers and Silence of the Lambs also glorified violence, but those films have never had direct instances of nurturing a violent movement. Scarface has done that though countless times.

Stone wrote two of those (Scarface and Natural Born).

Anyway, here’s a news article that might clear up what the OP was talking about:

I saw that being advertised on Cuban’s HD.net HD channel. Wasn’t for sure what it was about, but it didn’t look good.

Cuban’s a putz. The DePalma “film” is actually produced by “HDNet Films,” according to the IMDb. Cuban has had his hands in several lefty films, such as “Good Night and Good Luck” and I believe Syriana. And, of course, he gave Dan Rather a place to alight. In spite of myself, I like HDNet, but it’s probably more to do with Katie Daryl’s breasts than their programming. ;-)
