They have today announced that they have changed their name... to Columbus City Schools. I'm impressed.
I hope that someone was promoted as a result of this bold decision.

Back in the 90’s, the Portland received some well deserved bad publicity when 2 city workers were caught on tape taking a nap in their city vehicle on city time. The City responded boldly...with a new logo and motto for all their vehicles. All done in one night with tons of overtime.

A high school in my neighborhood remodeled an existing gym into a two story building containing classrooms. When it was finished they proceeded to build a brand new gym right next to it.
