CHICAGO (AP) - The son of deported immigration activist Elvira Arellano (el-VEER'-uh ahr-ay-AH'-noh) will travel to Mexico Friday to visit his mother and try to renew his U.S. passport.
The Reverend Walter Coleman says 8-year-old Saul Arellano will visit his mother for at least the weekend.
Coleman heads Adalberto United Methodist Church where Arellano had sought sanctuary for the past year to avoid deportation. Coleman's wife, Emma Lozano, heads an immigration rights group in Chicago and is Saul's legal guardian.
But Coleman says Saul, a U.S. citizen, can't renew his U.S. passport without his mother's presence.
I say, lets stop all this nonsense; ask our congress to enact law: make all undocumented aliens guilty of felonious violation of our sovereign territory. In an instant, 20 million people will face immediate deportation if not jail time. Give them temporary immunity to leave on their own or apply for legal status if qualified.
We can do this! It takes nothing else than a lot of faxes to our representatives.
This is the immediate resolve. All illegal immigrants are felons.
There are countries where a border perpetrator is shot on site. We give them food and water, medical care, phones to call home, free ride back to their countries. We smile timidly to ACLU. What are we? You name us
Papa ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
Who and where is Saul’s papa?
Easy to find out. Check his birth certificate. Or ask that Chicago priest, he knows. I can bet she was impregnated when she reentered US after first kick. Therefore papa may be an unknown who visited the red dristrict in Tijuana.
The kid will be back in the U.S. soon so he can get his free immunization shots and schooling.
Track this criminal’s funding and cut it off. I can’t afford to jet my children to other countries and I make enough money that a bunch of Americans would want my job.
lol. What a piece of work the AP is. No metion of the word “illegal” anywhere in this wire. “Deported immigration activist” makes it sound like she’s an innocent victim of the horribly callous U.S. government.
A Mexican, an Iraqi, and a redneck girl from Kentucky are in the same bar. When the Mexican finishes his beer, he throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In Mexico our glasses are so cheap we don't need to drink with the same one twice."
The Iraqi, obviously impressed by this, drinks his beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his AK-47, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In Iraq we have so much sand to make glasses that we don't need to drink with the same one twice either."
The redneck girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her beer, downs it in one draft, throws the glass into the air, whips out her .45, and shoots the Mexican and the Iraqi. Catching her glass, setting it on the bar, and calling for a refill, she says, "In America we have so many illegal Mexicans and Arabs that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice."
God Bless America!
Please STAY THERE !!
He’s doing odd jobs at the Rev. “Slim” Coleman’s storefront church.
That's because that's what leftists think.
Assuming she did not have time to get a court to assign a legal guardian, I would say they should refuse to let him reenter because he is a minor and has no legal guardian here.
It's a dilemna alright.
To bad Castro isn’t in control of Mexico,he’s make this kid return to his mama.
Being a US citizen, they will have to let him in eventually. However, most foreign countries won’t let you in if your passport is going to expire soon.
Great, let's just send her "nino" to be with his madre as it should be.
The Rev. Coleman seems to have the dreaded JJS (Jesse Jackson Syndrome). It is contracted from close proximity to TV journalists.
