As Clarice noted on this the previous post, this isn’t the first incident where Sergeant Karsnia’s name came up surrounding another questionable arrest. This blogger details his run in with the sergeant and his men after trying to ride his bicycle off airport property after arriving on a flight. Read it yourself. From his own discription he - the subject - sounds like an ass who just should have complied with the officer and walked his bike. Nevertheless, it’s the supervisors duty to insures a high profile venue avoids these incidents as much as possible and as such a little “tact” has to be used. Again, I’m former LE, and I hate to bash fellow officers, but if this account is accurate it shows that at the very least Karsnia’s supervisors should open an internal investigation into his office and how they conduct business. Apparently at the least look at how he exercises that all important “arrest discretion”, and what seems to be a complete ignorance basic arrest procedures.

Officer Wingate said, 'Well, you wanted to speak to my supervisor, here he is'. I then asked Sergeant Karsnia 'What in the world is going on here?' He also wanted to know from me what had happened but said 'first, I'd like to speak to my officer, and then I'll get back to you'. He had a private conversation with Officer Wingate, came back, asked what had happened but immediately interrupted me and said 'Look, I'll do the talking here because you tried to take a swing at my officer'. At this point the collusion was clear. I then had no reason to believe that the brutality was over. As I stood on Outbound Rd next to the squad car, handcuffed, I called out 'Help!' to all passing traffic, hoping to draw attention to the situation, and in hope of a witness. No cars would stop. When ironically asked to 'calm down' I explained to Sergeant Karsnia that I wanted a third party present, as I no longer had reason to trust the police. At no time did I physically resist arrest.

Who the hell would pick up ANYTHING from a bathroom floor in a public place? Hell, I wouldn’t pick up a $20 bill on the floor of a public bathroom and your telling me he was picking up a piece of toilet paper? Gross, but I am not buying that. Guilty.
This is going to go on everyday until the Senator resigns.
Which will probably be tomorrow. Tuesday latest.
According to the police report, there never was a piece of paper on the floor. Craig just made up that fiction to explain all the hand action.
I hope he resigns then. Is there any specific scuttlebutt you’ve heard that indicates he will definitely resign tomorrow, or is that just the way you see it?

Looks like the perfect storm of a high pressure cop meeting up with a low morals politician.
I woudn’t want to live near either of these two guys.
Also, why is it OK for the MSM and all the liberals to claim gay marriage should be normal and legal, but pick-up moves by these same gay people (there was no mention of money or prostitution in this story) is condemned and considered an actionable offense?
Let’s be consistent guys. While this clown is arrested for trying to pick someone up in the men’s room, a hundred feet away at the airport bar some guy is trying to pick up a gal and no one gets worked up.

I`d like to know more about Sgt.Karsnia, specifically his
badgering of those he arrests and his simplistic attempts
to force them to admit to what HE THINKS they`ve done.

Sadly Craig is NOT being booted because of sex in bathrooms, he is beeing booted just because he was caught THIS TIME.
I suspect he is another foley in the ranks who was tolerated as long as he was not public.
