These 13 GOP Senators Must GO
The GOPNation.com ^ | August 30, 2007 | The GOPNation.com

Sen. Larry Craig’s discretion is just the latest in a series of poor judgments – both of a political and/or personal nature that has inflicted the Republican Party in recent years, thereby hurting the Republican ‘brand’. Now, thanks to actions such as these, we find the GOP in the minority in both houses in Congress, with a Democratic White House coming in 2009 looking increasingly likely. Unless the Republican Party – and its leaders – realize that the RINOs and hypocrites of our party are destroying it from within, the blood-letting will only continue pushing us further into the minority. The time has come to once and for all cleanse ourselves of these people and begin anew.

With that being said, we present our GOP Senate Defeat List. These ‘Republicans’ need defeated, even if it means the election of a Democrat. Of course, the best course of action would be to defeat these people in the GOP primary, thereby setting up a ‘clean’ general election campaign feature a true Conservative versus a Democratic liberal.

2008
Susan Collins, Maine – RINO
Larry Craig, Idaho – Morally corrupt
Lindsey Graham, South Carolina – RINO
Chuck Hagel, Nebraska – RINO
Ted Stevens, Alaska - Corrupt
John Warner, Virginia – RINO

2010
Mel Martinez, Florida – RINO
John McCain – RINO (and everything but the war)
Arlen Specter, Pennsylvania – The King of the RINOs
David Vitter, Louisiana – Morally corrupt
George V. Voinovich, Ohio – RINO

2012
Trent Lott, Mississippi – RINO on most issues
Olympia Snowe, Maine – RINO

These ‘GOP 13’ must go.

Those guys just don’t understand political strategery. You have to vote for liberal boondoggles so you can stay in power so you can vote for, uh - I lost my train of thought.

I agree with everything but the Collins and Snowe. There is no reason to have RINOs in red states, but in Maine, they’re the best we’re going to get and we should be thankful that we have Republican senators in Maine at all.

A shining RINO.

Amen... we need committed conservatives. I wouldn't put those clowns back in charge of the Senate. They can't even tie their own shoelaces and because of their haughty demeanor towards the base on illegal immigration, they shouldn't get a dime. I hope they're ALL driven out of office so we can have leadership that RESPECTS rather than insults - the intelligence of the American people.

Good luck pitching that kind of woo. It won't be long before someone living in a nice red state will spout off about principle and "true conservatism" and never compromising. It will probably take another 8 years of a Clinton administration before people again see the value of incrementalism and trying again to build a majority. On the other hand, it's so much easier to be a minority party. You just have to criticize the majority and practice obstructionism. Of course you really don't get anything done and you just end up settling for Supreme Court nominees that aren't "too liberal".

Oh omniscient, munificent, eternal, omnipotent, and merciful God , spare us we beseech you from these Philistines who would strip us in the presence of our enemies. Rather, we pray you, grant us wisdom, judgment, and discernment that we may distinguish one rino from another and be clever as serpents in bringing our party to theological purity.

Amen.

With 50 dims in the Senate and these 13, I am surprised we still have our current Constitution. These dimwits and their beloved Marxist’s dimocrat friends will destroy the Republic. They are doing a great job now.

And, Lugar is a wimp.

Perhaps that’s redundant.

Add Lamar! Alexander to the list. He keeps trying to float the idea of an internet tax, among other things.

Absolutely agree with every one of their picks. Flush these 13 apologists and install some real conservatives.

Lugar just was re-elected...2012 is a bit far ahead to be worrying about right now.

Lugar ran for President a couple of cycles back. The most amazing thing in the past 50 years of Presidential politics is that he didn't sweep to the nomination. I mean, the guy could have given JFK lessons in charisma.

Fixed it.

As bad as some of those RINOs are, we simply cannot afford to lose any more seats, period. Especially if Her Heinous wins the White House next year.
