MEXICO CITY - The recently deported activist who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year has asked Mexico's president to appoint her "peace and justice" ambassador so she can return to the United States. State Department: About Diplomatic Visas | Images: Arellano's Sanctuary Elvira Arellano, 32, who sought refuge to avoid being separated from her U.S.-born, 8-year-old son, was arrested and sent back to Mexico on Aug. 19 after traveling to Los Angeles to attend a rally for the overhaul of U.S. immigration laws. I would think a deportment following arrest would preclude re-entry, even if wearing a fraudulent hat issued by the Messican govt........

Having absolutely no faith whatsoever in the desire of our gov’t to enforce immigration laws, I predict she’ll get exactly what she wants and she’ll be back in the US in a matter of weeks to lead protests. The Mexican gov’t will twist plenty of arms in DC to make sure it happens.

Whose arm can we twist to make sure that it doesn’t? And would anyone in the US government really be that stupid? This would be a blatant slap in the face to Americans, of whom a real majority agreed with her deportation.

The Bush administration has done everything it could for the Mexican government so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go along with this. We’ll see when Calderon makes his request/demand.

If they giver her a diplomatic passport, we still do not have to accept those credentials.

Don’t worry about the vocabulary police. Anyway, this woman will probably be appointed Ambassador to Mexico.

Why doesn’t she just steal an ambassador’s SSN and take over his job?

“If they giver her a diplomatic passport, we still do not have to accept those credentials.”

Who you trying to kid? The globalists in the State Department and at the White House will welcome her with open arms.

Having said that, isn’t dear Elvira guilty of some Social Security fraud? Maybe she’ll receive a pardon for that. After all, her poor son is stranded here in the hostile United States.
