I have a message for our gallant warriors and their families...Eagles will have your back and the back of your Commander, General Petraeus, in Washington, DC on September 15.....we will not abandon or betray over 200 years of warrior sacrifices to a minority willing to surrender it all. But, before September 15 there is work to be done. The moonbats are scurrying to shore up their last remaining remnant of support........get the word out to your friends all over America of the critical need to be in Washington, DC to lift up America, support our troops, and honor our fallen, missing and their families...."boots on the ground".
One of our strong Eagle leaders is Move America Forward www.moveamericaforward.org with their cross country caravan which begins September 3, 2007. The moonbats are calling for a rally to protest MAF's initial kick-off at Carson City, Nevada... MAF website illustrates the caravan route.

Now is the time for all folks within reach of Carson City, NV to be in attendance September 3rd at 0900 AM to support MAF........turn the tables on the moonbats. Notify your friends in Nevada, California and others of the grand opportunity to humiliate, demoralize the anti-America crowd with a large pro-America, pro troop support, encouraging MAF... When MAF starts off strong, the effect will carry to DC and September 15th.
For all of us going to DC.....time to get the busses finalized, lodging taken care of in DC, tickets for the train, put a note on www.eaglesup.us forum if you have room for passengers traveling with you in your own vehicle, get your T-shirts ordered quickly at http://www.printfection.com/eaglesup , signs, bull horns, flags, etc.......examples on our web site.
Check the web sites frequently of groups that are working to bring true patriots to DC on Sept. 15 including Eagles Landing; Move America Forward hosting the nationwide caravan of families and supporters starting in California and arriving in DC on the 15th; Military Order of the Purple Heart; Gathering of Eagles; Free Republic; and Vets For Freedom -- in addition to many other pro-troop organizations.
Detailed schedules, meeting locations, march routes will be finalized and provided. As mentioned previously, National Park Service will not likely release permit information until the week preceding the event..........you already know the primary and critical information...get to DC on Sep 15...we know the location we will occupy is likely from Lafayette Park (across from the White House) down Pennsylvania Avenue, likely down 15th St to Constitution Ave and then east to the US Capitol.........locations of other events and further directions will be provided when available.
EaglesUp received an email from a couple in Texas. Here's the emai:

If you actually could use funds more than just two more people though we can contribute $500 to the cause. We just can't do both. We would really like to hear from you; we intend to either be there, or support your efforts with a $500 donation."unquote

Folks, the message we must send cannot be sent with money, it requires bodies, faces, and "boots on the ground" on the streets of Washington, DC....and yes, sacrifice, as the folks from Texas are willing to make.
So my friends, take action on the September 3rd MAF kick-off, get you plans to DC finalized...looking forward to locking arms, shoulder to shoulder, with tens of thousands of you in DC........

The plane tickets have been bought and I WILL be standing shoulder to shoulder with the Move America Forward/ Gathering of Eagles patriots on September 15th.

Belated response. Video didn’t show when I looked before.
Reid peaceniks, probably union goons, set a trap & elderly vet played right into their hands.
Peaceniks were illegally blocking the sidewalk. Elderly vet still did not have the right to push them aside & he did indeed put out his elbows. However, the momentum that knocked down the peacenik woman was from the peacenik guy who violently pushed into the vet & tried to knock him down. In contrast, the vet appeared only to be trying to push the peaceniks aside so that he could get through between them.
The vet was more sinned against than sinning, but he did initiate the physical contact, a big mistake. Normally, the police would just tell him to stay away from the peaceniks and the cops would tell the peaceniks that they better keep a path open on the sidewalk if someone comes through. However, if Reid has this fixed as is likely, the vet would be charged for political reasons.
Notice that peacenik woman was wearing a Reid t-shirt. Probably her and the guy thug, who refused to step aside and let an elderly vet walk through, were a union tag team.
The woman then claimed to have had a grandfather who fought in the Civil War and a father who fought in WW1 (NOT WW2!).
She’s lying. The math doesn’t add up. Her grandfather fought in a war that was over 142 years ago and her father fought in a war that was over 89 years ago? Theoretically possible, but incredibly unlikely.
