Yes, the 2000 election cycle was abysmal here. Sadly, everything I predicted would come out of that campaign, did just about come to pass.

I knew what we would be getting. I predicted that electing that person could just about destroy conservatism. IMO, we’re a long way down that road.

We have very little advocacy for conservative policy, at the federal level. If you take a look at the way the Democrats pound their agenda home, and then look at how we do it, it’s embarassing.

The WOT as far as it goes, is an exception IMO, but once again it lacks strong definitive weekly advocacy from the top.

Mixed bag, tax cuts great, strong defense, WOT great, Supreme court, outstanding.
No child left behind, immigration policy, Medicare drug plan abysmal.

Sad as it is to say still the best President aside from Reagan since what, Eisenhower?
