Fred Thompson's new campaign manager, Bill Lacy, forces out communications director Linda Rozett and suddenly we have a date for Fred's announcement:
Sources tell numerous outlets that Thompson will announce his campaign September 4th, and that he will participate in his first debate on September 27 at Morgan State University in Baltimore. His first major appearance at a GOP event will be at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference in Michigan around a week earlier.

What is my agenda? If I have an agenda, it would be to try and convince people on here to have and adult dialogue without all the anger and nastiness and name-calling.
But, I’ve been behind the scenes in political campagins for so long I know that is impossible. Politics is just dirty, nasty, ugly business.
You’re absolutely right..... Just a little bored and thought I would stir the pot a bit.
BTW, it’s not the Romney, Huckabee, Hunter, or even Rudy supporters on here who are mean-spirited, slanderous and nasty. It’s Fred’s supporters. So, I say again, you guys are NOT helping Fred’s cause.

You’ve pulled the act several times. All one needs to do is search your posts.
Then, you get questioned about it and get all flustered and angry that FredHeads are so mean as to question you.

And new Director of Homeland Security Joe Lieberman, arrests Hugo Chavez...Why would you want Joe Lieberman to be appointed to a dead-end job with only a year and a half left to go?
I expect Hugh Hewitt to eat some crow within a few weeks.
Thompson/Giuliani '08I'm not going to say that's the only ticket that can win, but it is most likely the one with the best odds.
