The Racial Engineering of San Francisco

One of the ugliest aspects of contemporary "progressive" thought is a thoroughly patronizing attitude toward African-Americans, regarding them as eternal victims unable to fend for themselves. The latest insult comes from America's most stridently left wing big city government, San Francisco, where municipal officials are fretting over recent declines in the number of blacks living within the city limits.
The nation's largest newspaper, USA Today, yesterday joined the New York Times and San Francisco Chronicle in bemoaning the trend of San Franciscans of African heritage moving out of the central city. Not just to "working-class cities like Vallejo, Richmond or Fairfield" (The New York Times), but to genuine American Dream suburbs like fast-growing Tracy California, which welcomes all races and hosts a proud and growing African-American community that includes a number of people of my acquaintance.
Even more pernicious than liberal journalists lamenting blacks behaving like every other group attracted to the amenities of suburban living are the official attitude and actions of local government.

The US has a problem with race. The problem is caused by Liberals who think about race, talk about race, make policy based on race, and judge people by their race.
If the Liberals were to stop being so racist, the US would virtually eliminate it's race problem.

More blacks = more assured DemocRAT votes. SFO doesn’t want ordinary white folks there because those people might just vote *GASP* Republican.

I see plenty of black bums here. But the black middle class can't afford to live in San Francisco, just like the middle class of every other race. Asians pull it off because of their communal family structures - they don't mind having three generations under one roof. Everybody else at the middle-class socio-economic level who wants any elbow room is moving to Tracy. ;)
If San Francisco's city government really wants to solve the "problem" they can change some zoning laws that protect the property values of political insiders and start building more high-rise housing.

Dem elites see the exodus of Blacks from Frisco as a potential disaster for a very simple reason: they see a loss of political power. If Blacks start moving to suburbs and seeing themselves as just other Americans with problems rooted in the same problems as other Americans rather than the racial victim paradigm that has been established for them by the power-lusting Dem bigwigs, AND DRAMATICALLY IMPROVING THEIR SITUATION IN LIFE!!!!, then where will that leave the Dem party?
Obviously if many successful Black families start seeing themselves as typical Americans rather than victims, some might start voting Republican rather than Donkey Party. What a disaster that would be for the far-left who have taken over the party. They need ninety percent compliance every election from Blacks to win. If Republicans start getting what Nixon got in 1960, fortyfive percent, the Donkey Party is finished.

There is no one more obsessed with race than liberals. And the funny thing is they don’t even realize that they are the true racists.

I vacated the San Fran Bay area years ago. It occurred to me after residing in Redwood City (just south of SF) for 3 years that my net worth had actually decreased by $6,500. That is, for 3 years of my life, I was actually existing on a negative ROI. I arrived with only college loans straight out of college and left with a $6,500 credit card bill and absolutely nothing to show for it.
I would venture to guess that an economical demographic would show the exodus to consist of mostly middle class, two income families in their thirties. I don’t know why race is significant. I suppose there wouldn’t be a story at all if you could not link the woes of living in an over-priced, liberal lunacy, bastion of decadence and tax burdened society with a downtrodden minority. There would be nothing for the left to report on.
After all, what is this country if not a racist, wasteful, warmongering, self indulgent, polluting, empire of bigotry and prejudices?

There is no one more obsessed with race than liberals. And the funny thing is they dont even realize that they are the true racists. Especially these shysters in San Fran. This is an outrageous story; but typical leftist moonbattery.

San Francisco officials are now calling the thousands of Heterosexual people who have moved away "the Heterosexual American diaspora," and the mayor's office is putting together a task force to figure out what can be done to preserve the remaining Heterosexual population and cultivate new residents.

Who wants to live in San Francisco other than the homos and left-wing nuts? Black, white, hispanic, Asian, I bet they’re all moving out. And housing is expensive as hell!
