DALY CITY, Calif. -- One of the biggest sources of political donations to Hillary Rodham Clinton is a tiny, lime-green bungalow that lies under the flight path from San Francisco International Airport.
Six members of the Paw family, each listing the house at 41 Shelbourne Ave. as their residence, have donated a combined $45,000 to the Democratic senator from New York since 2005, for her presidential campaign, her Senate re-election last year and her political action committee. In all, the six Paws have donated a total of $200,000 to Democratic candidates since 2005, election records show.
That total ranks the house with residences in Greenwich, Conn., and Manhattan's Upper East Side among the top addresses to donate to the Democratic presidential front-runner over the past two years, according to an analysis by The Wall Street Journal of donations listed with the Federal Election Commission.
It isn't obvious how the Paw family is able to afford such political largess. Records show they own a gift shop and live in a 1,280-square-foot house that they recently refinanced for $270,000. William Paw, the 64-year-old head of the household, is a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service who earns about $49,000 a year, according to a union representative. Alice Paw, also 64, is a homemaker. The couple's grown children have jobs ranging from account manager at a software company to "attendance liaison" at a local public high school. One is listed on campaign records as an executive at a mutual fund.
The Paws' political donations closely track donations made by Norman Hsu, a wealthy New York businessman in the apparel industry who once listed the Paw home as his address, according to public records. Mr. Hsu is one of the top fund-raisers for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign.

“...This gives one Paws...”
These Paws gives.
LOL. Don't forget yer....
...MOPP gear. Required wearing when trolling you-know-where....
How did the John Huang thread unravel? Does that give us any thinking about how to learn more about Mr. Hsu?
Any recollections would be appreciated.
Thanks! The first thing that came up for me in re: Alice Paw was a linkedin url. Said she is a banker. I’m not a registered user though, so I couldn’t get in further. Same/different Alice?

Not a bad idea. Anyone can contribute as much as they want - but it’s swiftly and thoroughly disclosed, and any “hiding” the real contributor carries stiff penalties.
I fear that, here, Mrs. Clinton will just say “they deceived me” or some other nonsense, and the MSM will let her off.
Not necessarily, it depends on what they had it financed at BEFORE the re-fi, they might have drawn out any amount, with out checking the previous amount financed, its all speculation.
I’m not finding anything. A few references here and there, but no good links or anything with company info. Could they be fronts for or divisions of something else?
Oy. I'm not sure the brain box is up to that at the moment, so I'll refer you to Alamo-Girl's invaluable DSL....
One stop shopping for Toon-related info :)
Excellent research - thanks. So far, I have found three different spellings for that person- DIMIPLE, DIMPLE, and DIMPLO. It's also interesting that a number of these donations were made to Democrats in key races where control of the Senate was decided - McCaskill, MO and Webb, VA.
So in 2004 Winkle Paw was Investment Banker with Franklin Templeton and his wife Marina Paw was an Executive with Acuate. Quite a step up from a Postal Carrier and a Housewife!
My guess is that they are shell companies. Nobody is that invisible. Where could we see public tax records? I wonder if they've ever had a sale that needed sales tax applied, or income for which income tax was due.
Maybe they could get caught by donating so much money with no visible means of having earned it, or paid taxes on it.
Sort of a Al Capone "gotcha!"
Those are the kids, and that’s a normal step up for generation #2.
“The entire family got their Social Security cards in California in 1982, according to state records.

Anybody ever see ALL the Paws in the same room.....at the same time?
Just askin’.
FYI: Mr. Hsu almost never spelled his addresses the same way. As if to fool the FEC, which organizes by name anyhow.
I did not. I think I may be allowed. When I clicked the link that came by email, it said denied. But I think that is denying me being able to post for 24 hours. I’ll see tomorrow.
Darn good question.
“You guys dont get it. A 1280 sq ft house in Daly City is worth a million dollars! No joke”
“These people are wealthy”
Only if you sell it or borrow to the hilt.
