If you want Sen. Craig out of office, the you will want Rep. Bill Sali in.

Those pre-requisites are difficult to fulfill these days.

Bill Sali is one of the finest men in American politics today.
But, I seriously doubt that if Craig resigns, Sali would get the nod.
More likely the Lt. Governor, Jim Risch, unfortunately.

By the way, this is one time I sincerely hope I’m wrong.
Bill Sali would easily be the most conservative member of the U.S. Senate.

Bill Sali barely won his House seat last year. No thanks.

More likely the Lt. Governor, Jim Risch, unfortunately. Why unfortunately?
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
He’s a Romney supporter.
That’s a disqualifier for me these days.

I know Jim Risch, He’s an OK guy. He used to be in our parish, and my daughter went out with his son in HS.
However, he’s a consensus builder and I’m not sure that’s what we need in the senate. Too bad Helen C. died...

Amen on Helen. She was the best of the best. A true patriot. One of the few I would call “my hero.”

My number 1 priority these days is get rid of Senator (from Amnesty) Craig, the paid for Senator from Idaho. These latest little details don’t change a thing. I cannot believe the crud that came out of Craig’s office during the Immigration bill and the second coming of the Immigration Amnesty bill. I am devoted to his going home the failure he has proven himself to be. And this next year is the perfect time.
You gotta like Sali, for one thing, he drives the few lefties in our neck of the woods absolutely nuts. There are not many lefties around here, I will admit. But the few absolutely despise the man. Cannot believe the stuff they write for the local papers about Sali’s voting records. (perfect :^) That is just about good enough for me but I gotta talk with him soon. I am willing and able to spend time and money on a credible opponent for Craig. Sali may be just the ticket.

Sali won by 11,000 votes. I wouldn’t call that “barely”.

Helen handled herself well. Loved the salmon thing. I have dealt with Larry and Mike Crapo on identical issues and Craig just came off as a pompous ass.
To: EternalVigilance
That’s good. Not only will do you not support Romney, which is fine, but you are so certain that supporting him is a sign of derangement that you refuse to support anybody who supports him?
I’ve noticed that a lot lately, republicans going after other republicans for supporting other republicans.
It’s like we really want to be a minority party. Lump that with those who want to ensure that only white men feel comfortable in the party, and you have a recipe for disaster.
To: CharlesWayneCT
Well, they should stop supporting liberals. Then maybe I could trust them.

We need to get this message to Butch Otter because I am sure Larry will be pressured to resign.
