Travis County Sheriff's spokesman Roger Wade said the cause of death had not been determined but was believed to be "homicide times four."

Amazing how they can come up with more info than a newspaper with a full time staff.
While it would no doubt be splendid for all breaking news stories to be presented right from the start with all of the important facts on top ... that's just not gonna ever be the case.
Perhaps a bit of patience on your part would have helped you avoid looking silly.
Thanks for the link. The street where the 4 victims were found is not the street where my niece lives.
No excuse for not knowing gender!
Guess I am just use to real reporters from long ago before all this advance communications
A spokesman not having — or releasing — that information so early on, is no big deal.
The people were pronounced dead at about 8:30 p.m. Wade did not have information on the identities, age or gender of the dead. He said it has not been determined when the people died.
Actually, it’s just over 27 miles from my house, and that’s going around the lake. You’re correct though, in that they would have to cross the dam to get to my neighborhood.
“I know this will dissapoint many FReepers but it appears he is not an illegal (not a hispanic illegal anyway)”
Well...... Maybe he was distraught after losing his job to illegals.
That is about halfway from txflake to my home. I heard about this on KLBJ today.
I’m thinking that the perp had an illegal relationship with the underage (15 yr old) girl. I don’t know how the bartender in Marble Falls fits in, though—
And you could hide out in Trails End for a long time.
This is horrible.
The manhunt continues Monday morning for a man suspected of murdering up to five people in Central Texas. Investigators are on the scene of a quadruple murder in Jonestown.
Four bodies were found inside a home in the 8900 block of Hobby Lane on Sunday.
Investigators confirmed Paul Devoe, the man wanted in the Marble Falls shooting on Friday, is a suspect in the Jonestown incident. Devoe is accused of killing bartender Mike Allred.
The initial call came in as a welfare check of the house Sunday afternoon. That's when the four bodies were discovered.
Authorities also said a white Saturn is missing from the driveway. They believe Devoe is driving the missing car, which is a white 2001 Saturn, Texas plate Y43ZWV.
The suspect's vehicle is a 2001 white Saturn station wagon with the license plate number Y43ZWV.
I thought it was closer to Lago by Google maps. Looks like it is just off of Reed Parks Road.
That is too close for comfort. Wonder if this is a drug deal gone bad?
Bttt
Sounds like a drug deal gone bad including a situation with an underage. I hope that poor girl wasn't one.
DeVoe could be all the way to the East coast by now.
Yes, but you can't pass laws on a national level stating that rural Texans can own guns, but not people in NYC...and since the national laws ALL tend toward the more restrictive, this Texan (not rural, either) ain't voting for that cross-dresser. Nor is this Texan voting for Romney.
BTW, Reed Road is in the LVISD.
