Many of you know that I help organize the Duncan Hunter "meetup" group(s). I decided to peek in at the "competition" and found it very interesting that Ron Paul supporters are being urged to attend the MoveOn.org rally....
http://ronpaul.meetup.com/1/boards/view/viewthread?thread=3421862
I post this because I know there are a lot of folks on FR that support Ron Paul.. I just wonder if you are participating in this effort.. or what you think about this whole business of catering to MoveOn.org
.... quote from an active Ron Paul supporter
Somebody posted a thread concerning moveon, and letting their members know about Ron Paul. As a member of moveon.org, I received today an invitation to create an anti-war rally on August 28th. They will be doing rallies all across the nation on that day. We should invade this event. During the rally, bring anti-war stickers, signs, and flags -- and also Ron Paul signs. Introduce moveon members to Ron Paul, the REAL anti-war candidate! Anti-war people will ask about Ron Paul and be introduced to him on that day. Don't be rude, just gently introduce people to the peace candidate. Moveon.org is well cordinated, so if enough of our people show up at their rallies, we might be able to convert a huge number of people.
I have already created a moveon.org anti-war rally, on the 28th at 7pm, right outisde of the West Covina Mall. Please, everybody who can in this group, COME. It's on the corner of Vincent and Plaza Drive in West Covina.

"Remember the 1986 immigration amnesty? One of its beneficiaries was Mahmoud abu Halima, who went on to bomb the World Trade Center in 1993. His friend Mohammad Salameh wasn't so fortunate. He applied for the '86 amnesty but was rejected. So he just stayed on in America, living illegally, and happily was still around to help Mahmoud and co-attack the Twin Towers. He's the guy who rented the truck, which suggests he had enough ID to get past the rental agent at Ryder."

If that was a real Ron Paul answer, he comes off and not someone I want in the President’s seat.

True, before 9-11 many believed we were living in a different world.
So, does Fred or Rudy today feel the same way as they did before a war was started on us?

I'm so glad we could manage to work in 20 YouTubes of Duncan on an attack thread on Ron Paul. LOL.
No, really, it's fine with me. Duncan is a good man and has many merits and as a chair (now ranking minority member) of the House Armed Services Committee, he's done a lot of good work seeing to it our troops are properly supplied and that the fence is getting built (just as slowly as Chertoff can build it). He raises the issue of Chinese military buildup well and the trade imbalance with them.

If it’s Rudy against Hillary, I will sit out the election. You would be surprised how many others would do the same thing. That is why he is unelectable. I am not too worried, tho, because his level of support within the Republican party is about as high as it’s going to get.
As far as Fred, I would vote for him, just not very enthusiastically. So far, the media has investigated very little about him. Mostly softball interviews, no tough questions. At some point, he is going to have to answer for every vote and position he has made or taken. From campaign finance reform, illegal alien stands, questions about past and present abortion positions and well, everything else he has been involved with. Maybe not enough that would sink him, but enough for people to question his qualifications. Personally, I don’t consider him a conservative but many do. If he is elected, I guess we will all find out the answer to that question and I hope I am the wrong on that one.

Mayor of SANCTUARY CITY didn’t get the hint after attacks on WTC 1993, OKC 1995, and further attacks in 1998??? He was on the FRONT LINES and didn’t notice....untill it became an issue for him to run on as a predidential candidate....in 2006.

OOPS, guess he forgot to call Alex Jones himself, as Alex is still trumpeting him today KLBJ-AM 590.
For people who hurl accusations of others being involved with Alex Jones or with the DUmmies or the KosKidz, some of you seem to spend a lot of time listening to Alex Jones and hanging out at those leftwing websites. I hardly ever visit those sites and haven't heard Alex Jones more than a couple of minutes in a YouTube clip.
I'm just sayin'.

More than happy to work in a segway to talk about a REAL conservative! The conversation about a LIEbertarian-RINO convert like Ron Paul was getting a bit dull, if you ask me.

How long before Dennis Kucinich is answering the phones at Ron Paul HDQTRS?
Will he work cheap? Most importantly, can we pass off some dirty fiat money as wages or will he insist on bullion?

If it were Rudy against Hillary and you sat out the election, you would be an expected probably third party passive enabler of the Democrat IMO.
I don’t know if you are a third party type, but that post sounded just like a typical one IMO.

There was no acknowledgment of a larger Islamic terrorist network in operation within American borders at that time.
Isn’t hind sight wonderful?

Ron Paul has consistently voted against everything that is not specifically authorized in the constitution. That does not sound like a convert to me.

Well, now, we've got our own little Ron Paul Breaking News thread here, obviously, a very hot property.
We could probably give you ad space at reasonable rates. Payable in bullion, of course.

He’s also a CUT & RUN weak-kneed RINO who’d run as a DUmocrat if he actually had a spine, since he shares the same MOONBAT talking points of DEFEAT and SURRENDER.
