Routine corruption, routine buying and selling of justice in America. With all of the crap today, I am at a loss to say why this one hit me so hard. It is just another in a long parade.
I would love to see just the moms of the tens of thousands of kids in California prison for similar offences, just you Moms, just go and stand in the street in front of this courthouse just to ask these people, this judge, this prosecutor, these people, just ask them why your relative, your father, your child is in jail, and this one gets to giggle and slip out the back door?

So did she have a male judge?
Bet Paris Hilton is pissed. She is saying to her self today. “Why didn’t I hire her lawyer!”

The DA stated that this was typical for her offense.
The judge should have sentenced her to a spanking, by me!

She is trying to kill herself and the judge is giving her rope.
She'll finish the job soon enough.

The finest justice money can buy.
It is no wonder that law and order are getting harder to come by in the country.

I would love to see just the moms of the tens of thousands of kids in California prison for similar offencesThere are only 42,000 prison inmates in CA, and I highly doubt that almost half of them consist of kids who have two DUI arrests and one arrest for possession of a controlled substance.
Almost no one gets time for their first possession bust and almost no one in CA goes to prison unless they have 3 or more DUI arrests or are violating the terms of a probation agreement.
You would be hard pressed to find a single kid in a CA state prison doing time for a single count of possession and two DUIs.
Paris Hilton went to prison because she not only had a DUI, but she failed to appear in court, had her license suspended and was arrested twice after that for driving without a license which violated the terms of her probation.
Lindsey Lohan's second DUI arrest occurred before her scheduled court date for her first DUI, and so she was driving with a valid license and was not under probation.

In the judge's defense I did hear on the radio that part of her sentencing was she had to go to the morgue and see the dead bodies from drunk driving accidents. I thought that was a nice touch and I had never heard of that before.
But yea 1 day jail and 10 days comm service is too low for any drunk driver, famous or not. Drunk drivers should be charged with attempted manslaughter imo.
