Dear Senator Warner:
I'm writing to express my outrage at your latest effort to undermine our mission in Iraq. You appear to have joined the cut-and-run Democrats who have been giving aid and comfort to the enemy for the past two years -- and if you don't think that your actions give "aid, comfort and encouragement" to our enemy than I think it is time you resigned your Senate seat.
I don't expect a reply to this email and if you are going to send me a rationalization of your actions -- please, spare me and the taxpayers any wasted effort and expense. I don't believe it and I think you are doing a terrible disservice to our troops, to this Administration, to your constituents, and to our country -- much less the people of Iraq who have put their faith in our country. Apparently, their faith was a foolish act with "leaders" such as yourself.
Respectfully,
ReleaseTheHounds
Another great letter. You guys really tell it like it is to the doddering old fart. I hope he reads it and comprehends the words; though I think he is suffering from some form of senile dementia. No, I’m not kidding.
I sent him two emails yesterday....the first discussusing his foolish remarks and telling him it was his time to pull out of the senate. The second email was a recap (from newsbusters.org) on his becoming the latest media star and congratulating him for making the situation about him and not about the success of our troops. Senator/General Warner has done more harm than good on numerous occasions, and this is a prime example.
I told him he can do one thing, he can defund or shut up. He really has become a fool in his old age. He is 80 now, too old to serve in the Senate; it is time for him to draw down his “senatorial” contributions...the public needs to know that his presence in the Senate is not an unending commitment. Fool.
Well stated, indeed.
