10 years on many remain convinced Diana was murdered in a sinister plot
LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Two major investigations by French and British police concluded that Princess Diana's death in a Paris car crash was a tragic accident, but 10 years on many remain convinced she was murdered in a sinister plot.
Princess Diana was 36 when she was killed in a car crash in 1997.
1 of 2 The usual suspects cited by conspiracy theorists include Britain's royal family -- because they were unhappy Diana was to marry her lover, Muslim Dodi al-Fayed -- or arms dealers, because they were angry at her support for a ban on landmines.
"They were killed as a result of a wicked conspiracy by people who did not want the princess to marry my son and were fearful of what she could say and do," Dodi's father Mohamed, the leading murder theory protagonist, told Reuters.
And there are some truly bizarre hypotheses.
These suggest leaders of a "new world order" assassinated her because she wouldn't marry former U.S. President Bill Clinton, or that she was killed as part of a Satanic ritual, or even that she is still alive having faked her own death.

Why is the media so facinated with this Bimbo? She slept around just like her husband, neither respected their marriage vows and she died while crusing with a greasy arab after drinking.

How do the Diana conspiracy theorists explain the fact that neither she nor Dodi were wearing seatbelts? It seems insane to be driving that fast through the streets of Paris without belts on, but that’s what they did, and no one made them. Diana’s bodyguard who was in the front seat and survived (because he was belted in) said that he asked her to fasten her belt but it wasn’t his job to press the issue. Dodi, apparently, regularly drove in very fast cars and heavy traffic without a seat belt.
Perhaps they felt that the armor-plated Mercedes would keep them safe, or they felt that it was better to be able to exit the vehicle with great speed. Either way, it is apparent that Diana would have survived, but been badly injured, if she had worn one. Dodi had no chance - the car roof where he was sitting was completely bashed in.
Since when did Clinkton require that one of his targets pledge to love, honor, cherish, obey, and only swing one way to get her in the sack?
