Was disappointed with a lot of our pics from vacation - exposure, blurry, etc. Didn’t realize the problem until the pics were downloaded to the puter.
Luckily, we were able to get copies of pics our daughters took along with SIL’s pics.
It was a learning experience for the old guy - make sure the lens is clean. doh!
Thank YOU, Miss Kitty! The MeerKats were among the very few at the zoo that day that we actually could see - so many of the animals were either back in their ‘caves’ or just sleeping behind some big tree and all we saw were tails and part of their backs!
...and speaking previously about vacation pix, mrsdd and sis and brother discovered what to do with dear ol' dad when the party's over... just pack him up and haul him away. :)

LOL - they were all so cute - here were three of their offspring - the picture isn't quite as good as the first one because they were sort of hiding in a small crevice thingie.
Have to agree with jaycee - great picture of you and th’ missus, and looks like they were having so much fun in the second picture. :)

that is a great view. You are on the coast or an island? . Is this Ms. B’s full time home or part time home? FReeper Wheelbarrow has been trying to get me to join his family at their cottage at Bustin Island for years.With mom, it is hard to get away for as along as he stays. Shortly after labor day the ferries stop & most of the private boats that do shuttling cease & are taken in so the island is empty.
Did you get some good pix at Kinnebunkport? Sunburned? you are pretty fair.
