DEMOCRATS, liberal historians and even a majority of U.S. voters already consider George W. Bush a "failed" or "poor" president - in fact, perhaps, "the worst president in American history."

All without citing one reason why.

Bush is easily one of the greatest Presidents of the last 50 years.
His defeat of the Taliban and Saddam are historic.
His tax cuts and resilience in the War on Terror are impressive.
His critics on right and left are full of self defeating hate.
Enjoy your new 18% approval rating republicans and democrats in Congress because you truly deserve every bit of it.
President Bush, thank you for not bending to this ignorant hatred.

Oh, and I forgot to add, these folks will consider Bush the worst president ever until another Republican is elected then HE will be the worst president ever. Of course the next Republican elected after him will then be the worst and so on and so forth.

These same clowns had the same opinion in 1989 about Reagan. Funny thing, History looks at the facts, not the emotional based political feelings of the times. That why these clowns always end up being wrong with this crap.

The libs said the same thing about Reagan. Now, I am not putting Bush into the same category, but it is too soon to judge (unless the judge is a partisan hack).

“Cusp” is a word commonly used by astrologists.

Just nonsense. Strong economy, strong response to terror attacks. Failure in getting two big domestic changes (social security/ immigration). Success with Supreme Court, Medicare prescription coverage, and Education reform.
No basis at all to be called a "worst president". W's problem is he didn't want to confront the liberals, so he is stuck with people believing made-up crap like he was a "racist murderer" after Katrina. And his immigration mistakes hurt him badly with conservatives. But he is at worst a pretty good president.

You should. Anyone comparing W to Carter is so factionally idiotic they have to be deliberately suppressing all rational facilities to make it

Nonsense that he would be called the worst president. The press is so infantile. The country has not been attacked since 9/11 and it’s not because of dumb luck.

President Bush destroyed 2 terrorist regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, freed 50 million people. He is commanding the war in Iraq which is now the center front of the war on terror where our brave troops are killing and capturing the terrorists by the tens of thousands. He protected us since 9/11 and we did not have a terrorist attack in America since then.
President Bush cut our taxes which helped us out of recession, the Clinton recession, and thus has helped in giving us one of the best economic prosperity on record.
President Bush appointed two great conservative Supreme Court Justices.
President Bush is the most pro-life President since Roe Vs Wade criminality has been established.
President Bush is one of the greatest Presidents ever, despite the lies of the left wing lunatics, the frustrated Buchaninites and faux right wing nuts and the left wing media that say otherwise.
God bless President Bush. God bless our brave troops. God bless America.

Whether that occurs following a U.S. defeat in Iraq, however, will depend upon whether a Democrat elected in 2008 repeats the example of foreign policy weakness pursued by Jimmy Carter.Note that Carter only had... 'a weakness in foreign-policy'... and was not considered a failure by Mort. LBJ gets no mention as a failure either. However:
Bush will deserve "failed" status even if Congress precipitates failure because it's a president's responsibility, if he launches an enterprise as consequential as war, to execute his policy well enough to maintain public backing.
