Apparently the Moonbats have gotten an agreement from Virginia RINO, Tom Davis, to attend (and speak at) a Moonbat Town Hall Meeting in Burke, VA on Thursday, August 23rd from 2:00 until 3:00 pm.
The Moonbats hosting this event call themselves "Americans Against the Escalation in Iraq."
At this meeting they intend to ask questions of Davis, "regarding the Iraq war and Rep. Davis' rubberstamping of Bush's Iraq policies despite stating many times that he is against the war."
Best news of all is that they have invited you Virginians who may be interested, to attend the meeting!
So, if any of you work at home (this includes stay at home moms - or dads), or otherwise have the time to attend, you may be able to liven up the debate with facts that refute the Moonbats' Surrender Surge talking points.
Please consider attending, and bringing a friend with you. Moonbats are notorious for their unpeaceful behavior when a group of them faces a lone dissenter.
Here are the particulars:
Where: Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church
10125 Lakehaven Court, Burke
When: Thursday, August 23
2-3pm
If any of you Virginia Freepers are able to attend, you may be able to inject a little verbal calcium into his backbone.
Message to Tom Davis: The surge is working. You don't pick up the ball and walk off the field, forfeiting the game, when you are ahead.
Pinging a few Virginia Freepers who may be able to attend, or if not, can alert fellow Virginians who may be able to attend...
Go git em bump.
An excerpt:
Headquartered on K Street, Washington lobbyists' home, the campaign war room is a mix of disillusioned Iraq war veterans, liberal 20-somethings, and grizzled political campaigners. Thirty staffers blast out E-mails to the media and coordinate about 100 field organizers nationwide.
Tara McGuinness, deputy campaign manager, keeps head shots of her top prizes--Sununu, Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Norm Coleman of Minnesota, and Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, among others--pinned to her wall. On her table: a copy of Ending the War in Iraq, a recent screed by 1960s antiwar protester Tom Hayden.
They are well-funded, it seems. A K-Street office. Staffers. Blast-faxing and emailing.
They really want the US to be defeated.
Hmm...thanks for the ping. Got some thinking and planning to do.
Please go get ‘em and give them he** from this Maryland FReeper.
May the Force (and your fortitude) be with you.

Mr. T, are you going to write a report on your frustrating day with a MD rep. yesterday? (I don’t want to give away any scoop you might have.)
DC Chapter ping. (I don’t have a dedicated VA ping list).
Good. I like seeing Tom Davis squirm. He’s a squiggle-ass.
[Mr] T
Hey, I have a Tom Davis campaign sign in my garage. Anyone have an interesting plan on what to do with it?
I’ve marked my calendar and if I can break away from work will attend, and possibly bring my newly enlisted son with me.
I wonder how much of that K Street mega-money comes from the DNC, CPUSA, Workers World Party, radical Islamic groups, hostile countries like Iran and China, and so on.
Tom Davis is squishy? Does that mean he’s fruitier than Lindsey Graham?
Throw it in the trash can.
Don’t let em get away with it. Attack.
I am afraid that this is not a good place to take my 10 year old grandson...sorry. Wish I could go!
TR, do tell what has you so steamed!
You have private FReepmail
I am as disappointed in Davis as any of you.
Let’s all keep a few things in mind, though. One, Northern Va is turning bluer. It’d be just about impossible to elect someone who toed the conservative line all down the line. Two, he is certainly better than any Democrat alternative.
That said, Takoma is right when she says that the “surge” (the kinetic part of which is now Operation Phantom Strike) is working. Davis needs to recognize that and get off of the Iraq Study Group meme.
