Young women suffer most from loneliness, according to a report from the Swedish National Institute of Public Health.
The institute says young women run a higher risk of suffering from anxiety and psychological illnesses. In the survey, more than 73,000 Swedes were asked about their social activities and how many friends and relatives they have.
Per Carlson, a researcher at the Swedish National Institute of Public Health, told Swedish Radio news that young women are not more lonely than other groups, it’s just that they are the ones who suffer more serious psychological illnesses from being alone, compared, for example, with older men.
In the group of young women between the ages of 16 and 20, every third woman says she has some type of anxiety, depression or worry. Only one in six young men reported the same problem and in the age group of men over 65 years old, only one in ten were suffering from psychological illnesses.
The worst affected are women with poor finances and who have immigrated to Sweden from outside Europe. Those who seem to feel really well are older Swedish-born men with a good income.
I do. I pity their young, nubile 19-year-old buxom bodies with the long, luscious legs and the flowing straight blond hair, those pathetic high cheekbones, and those sad, crystal-clear blue eyes.

I truly believe that if people truly believed in God nobody would be lonely. If you look at most of the problems that people have today it is definitely because people have decided to give up on God. Blast away!

I actually think this study is one of those rare ones which are not only accurate but show a really serious problem, not just in Sweden btw.
I know a young lady who was and still is, a rare beauty, sweet as candy and with a figure resembling those shown on 18 wheeler mud flaps. When she was 18 and 19, I worked with her and she had lots of boyfriends, several of whom wanted to marry her.
She wanted a career and for awhile seemed to have everything.
Now she is 33, still pretty but no longer has a long list of boys wanting to marry her. She still always has a boyfriend but they don’t want to get married. I know she recently confided to her pastor, and me, that she is afraid she will never get married.
She lives in a nice apartment with her cat and suffers from depression and anxiety severe enough to require treatment.
How much better she would be if she had married one of those nice guys when she was 20, and raised a family.
Yes she loves kids.

A very sad story indeed.
Somehow, I believe this to be a ‘sign of the times’.
We must inspire young people to marry, that is the only way to keep a country and a civilization going.
I suspect one of the reasons why fewer people start families in the Western World today is the distortion of family values movements like feminism has caused.
