I'm watching the debate right now. I love how they blast each other on the stump, then try to backpedal from their statements and make nice when they're actually in the same room.
These dripping, soggy milquetoasts (can't use my original term on a family forum) are afraid to stand by their attacks on each other in person, but they think they have the guts to lead the free world in wartime.

Karl is giving Chris a lesson on the Constitution and Chris is looking like an idiot with this line of questioning. Note to Chrissie:
Don't attempt a "Battle of Wits" with a man when you're only "Half Equipped"

If Rove were a Democrat, the drive-by TV networks would be lined up offering him his own show. Right, Hugh suggested that any smart MSM network would hire Rove for a Sunday show if they want highest ratings, as Russert, Steffie are all former democrat officials.
That will not happen though.

Yeah...but it will be all over the show that counts tomorrow...
3 hours of Rove vs "The Enemy"
He was on Rush?! Dang.. I missed it all.

I take it back. Gravel has guts. Too bad he employs them on behalf of our enemies.

Hillary will need to shore up her leadership lack of experience so look for her to ask an ex or sitting governor to be her VP. Probably someone from the South and a red state, if she can pull it off. Well, she could also ask that RINO McPain to be her Veep. He sure would like that feather in his hat.
Actually, it's more likely to be Newt Gingrich, because Senator McCain still has a day job as a Republican, while Citizen Gingrich makes it obvious he represents the geniuses among us, and Newt has actually said many nice things about Senator Clinton.

David Gregory is such a smug little pussy.

Interesting post, you definitely have her number.
I don’t think anyone has ever heard of Bredesen and Rendell is so crooked and has such baggage we would have a field day with him,and I doubt you will see two New Yorkers or a (perceived)New yorker and a New Jersey criminal who bought the office and has been way layed by the press as much as Corzine has.
I’m not going to mention any of the Veeps she could pick because I don’t want to help them. Thankfully she won’t pick anyone that would out shine her so we are safe.

Right now we’re being given a lesson in the power of prayer and when it will and will not “work”.

Warner is a possibility, but I think his drawing power and age will rule him out.

Unfortunately, the 22nd amendment only limits the number of times that a person can be ELECTED to the office of President. By itself, it does not make a person ineligible to BE President. The 12th amendment bars anyone ineligible for the presidency to BE the vice-president. Since the 22nd amendment does not speak to the qualifications for BEING president, the 12th together with the 22nd cannot bar someone from succeeding, unelected, to the presidency.

Amendment XXII says: “No person shall be elected to the office of President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once...”
I don’t see where Bubba is excluded from serving as VP since him succeeding HRC would not be by “election”.

Democrats always seem to think prayer is for asking God to do something for you. Explains quite a bit.
Edwards has adopted the Bill Clinton "thumb and knuckle" gesture.
