Absent any information to the contrary, this rescue effort should become a recovery effort.

Condolences and prayers for the families of the dead and injured.

As hard as it is to say, I thinkit is time to call off the digging. Keep drilling bore holes and if the miners are located and are alive, then rescue efforts can resume -- if they can't find them or they locate bodies via the bore holes : then they should collapse the entrance to the mine, seal it, and make it a tomb.
