“I could be all wrong about him though.”

I don’t think you are. See my post here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1877085/posts?page=233#230

“I interviewed in early 2000 for a position as his Executive Assistant in Cleveland. I was not permitted to interview at the office, but was asked to meet a member of his staff at in the lobby of a nearby hotel for the interview. By the time the staff member answered all my questions, making it very clear what I’d be walking into...I learned the man was an egotistical and intolerable human being, politically obsessed, HATED Al Gore of course, and had been driving everyone in the company freeking nuts because he was fearful that GWB might not be elected. I told the interviewer I didn’t need any time to consider the position...thanks but no thanks.”

While I agreed, of course, with Mr. Murrays political choice...I was ‘warned’ that man was absolutely crazed & fearfully obsessed that a Republican would not be elected and it sounded to me like there was just no telling how much more difficult he’d be to work for after the elections and his ‘demeanor’ already sounded bad enough to me.

Kindness and grace are extremely rare commodities these days.

I tend to think that we deserve what is going to happen.
Sad, and such a waste.

= = =

Toooo true.

Even Bible Beliving Christians aware of prophetic issues act . . . cluelessly casual as though things will go on as they always have and that nothing substantial is amiss.

Blind leading the blind . . . and so much of it seemingly willful blindness.

I suppose I stated it wrong.

Kindness and grace are rare because they ARE NOT commodities.
If someone could make a buck on it, it’d all be the rage.

Guess I’m just depressed and out of touch tonight.
But it’s still true.

regards, God bless, I gotta sleep...

‘bone an blood is the price of coal’

Why don’t you go back a hundred years and live in your ignorant world. You are so misinformed.

Posting like that belongs at DU and KOS.

Pathetic

Understand.

Prayers for good sleep and better mood.

Being in the pits is the pits LOL.

Sometimes taking each thought captive and turning it to a positive outlook is a real challenge.

I think you have mis-interpreted what glock rocks said.

I guess you don’t live in coal mining country do you mmanager? I do. I live in the remains of a small coal-mining patch town. In the past, around here, we’ve had several mine disasters where we’ve lost up to 40+ miners at a time. The ‘bones and blood for coal’ that glock rocks talks about are no exaggeration. He’s not being facetious. He’s stating the truth. I know families who are minus a husband or dad from mine accidents. It is hard, dangerous work, but it is part of an industry that made our country great. It’s no different than the sacrifices many men made in building Hoover Dam, or building some of the skyscrapers.

Oh you are so wrong. Been in the industry for 30 yrs. Grandfather was in a major explosion in PA back in the 30’s. Ex Wife’s father missing leg from accident.

Was down on the ‘face’ just last friday.

My company had two teams at Crandall with one in route when the last bump happened.

I probably am closer to this than anyone at FR.

Ok, got it. But - I still think you mis-interpreted glocks intentions! :-)

Just out of curiosity - what mine explosion was your grandfather in?

By the way the mine disaster I am referring to is Samples Run in PA. Look it up. I believe 23 perished. My uncle was outside the portal when the mine blew. Picked up his bucket and walked home.

That’s “Sample Run”. I live about 10 miles from there! My sister lives about a mile away. Indiana County, Pa. Look up “Fulton Run Mines” I live in the town that grew up around those mines.

We Hunter folks are finding each other. lol! Mr. sneakers got stopped outside Lowes by some guy who wanted to know where we got the bumper sticker. He wanted one. Hunter’s the only one that really speaks for me, so far, on most issues. And it’s still early.

Fox reporter this morning reporting she has learned that employees were complaining alot about safety issues over the past several weeks...mine “shifting” but have been afraid to be vocal about it, though some were re-assigned to other parts of the mine.

I suspect that at some point soon, this community is going to come out with both barrels blazing.

I understand. Hunter is the real conservative. He just can’t get elected. I believe Fred is our only hope to insure the Beast and Bill do not occupy PA avenue.
