I am a Fred supporter, but every day he waits,,,,the advantage goes more to Rudy--as the greatly accelerated primary/caucus schedule harms anyone who waits. Every day that goes by--is a day lost to organizing grassroot volunteers and support.

With so many states moving up their primaries--as each fights and tries to outdo the other by being earlier--delaying any longer makes little sense. With the current earlier primary system in place--the nominee will be selected by February.

Who has the biggest impact? A football player that kicks a field goal in the first quarter with the score something to something or one that waltzes in with a clean uniform and kicks one late in the fourth quarter with his team trailing 16-14?

Things change every day in an election year(s). Fred’s made his choice and will have to live with the consequences. Traditional campaign or not. We shall see, sit back and enjoy the ride. There are going to be disagreements no matter what, hit pieces from the MSM for anyone who shows signs of doing well.

Notice the media spins both sides of it, Fred has waited too long, Fred is smart to wait, Fred doesn’t have a chance now. They don’t know, they don’t have a clue and I can’t see into the future.

Far be it from me to criticize. It is impossible to see right now how this is all going to come out.

I agree. The process is incredibly front loaded this time and the candidates will likely be decided within a couple of weeks of South Carolina. And there’s been talk of New Hampshire moving to December if any other early states try to move up, which would make it even worse.

If Fred does not declare and get into the race by the first week of September, it's over for him. The Thompson people that I know are tired of waiting and they are getting more impressed with Romney every day.

I think that Conservatives are getting tired of being "teased" and taunted by the waiting game.
