Sounds like you are worrying about not having easy access to your addictions.
The liberaltarians (who mistakenly believe they belong on a conservative forum because they are for lower taxes and support the Second Amendment) see ANYTHING that threatens their hedonism as "government interference." They lack even the most basic understanding of the Constitution as evidenced by their belief that "limited government" actually means no government. In short, they are anarchists at heart.
And very few people have actually read the former. Lots of people claim that they have and like to discuss it with others who claim that they have, but it's generally elitist sophistry.

If Islamofascists were using the Internet to advocate, plan, share information, and collaborate on acts of danger to your city, you would not, I think, allow them to use the shield of free speech, or say that suppressing their criminal activities was offensive to American liberties.
If you don't want your little children to be stalked, molested, and raped, you have to take legal action, bringing the sex sickoes before a jury which will convict only if they are convinced by evidence of responsibility and harm.

BS. I have rarely heard Libertarians speak about guns or taxes. Drugs and porn are their bread and butter.

Ronald Reagan clearly did not believe in the agenda the many of the self-described libertarians on FR do as evidenced by his support of the war on drugs and opposition to abortion.

I know that you've been horrified, as have I, by the resurgence of some hate groups preaching bigotry and prejudice. Use the mighty voice of your pulpits and the powerful standing of your churches to denounce and isolate these hate groups in our midst. The commandment given us is clear and simple: "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
But whatever sad episodes exist in our past, any objective observer must hold a positive view of American history, a history that has been the story of hopes fulfilled and dreams made into reality. Especially in this century, America has kept alight the torch of freedom, but not just for ourselves but for millions of others around the world.
I've learned to be ok with things I can't do anything about. *shrug* But I and others like me have done a good job preventing that from ever happening. I've taught every girl I've dated how to shoot a gun, take friends to the range, and educate all on the importance of the right to self-defense. They, in turn, join the NRA and scare the Ds and RINOs from trying to reverse their civil-litigation exemption.
Like I said - good luck doing the same with your friends and family by introducing them to your porn addiction and explaining why it deserves equal protection.
The argument that “porn doesn’t hurt anyone” sounds just like the “illegal immigration doesn’t hurt anyone” argument.
These are not the droids you are looking for.
More normal liberty-oriented Rs are members of the Liberty Caucus.
The people who say, “porn (or drugs, prostitution, etc.) doesn’t hurt anyone,” really mean that it hasn’t yet hurt THEM. They ignore that Constitution’s desire to “promote the general welfare” and instead focus on their own personal desires.
