There are now 24,000,000 illegal Mexicans (and other Central Americans - 10% of the population of El Salvador now resides in California) in the US. How about we deport one back for each recovered gun they return to the USA? Fair trade?
The Mexicans have no one to blame but themselves. It is illegal aliens here in the US that do 99% of the illegal smuggling of weapons into Mexico.

For sure they’d have the predominant traffic flow going for them — but somebody must be taking advantage of that to get all those American guns down South.
Yeah they could shut the border or, even cheaper, figure a way to eliminate the profit.
You cannot buy AP 5.7 in gunshops..mucho illegal.
I have an XP-100 that will do the trick, our would if I let it out of the safe. Nearly pistol will do if you take the time to get a head shot.
In Mexico only the crooks have guns. They may be rich, or they may be in uniform, crooks nearly any one of them.
