Amsterdam, A Dutch Catholic bishop has suggested that Christians should refer to God as "Allah" to promote better relations with Muslims.

The Dutch bishop admitted that his suggestion was not likely to gain widespread acceptance. But he predicted that within a century or two, Dutch Catholics would be addressing prayers to "Allah."

Unless something is done about those butchers, the Bishop might very well be right about this.

This is so easy. You know, the answers to these idiocies is always in scripture. I wish this guy would just read it.

I think if God had wanted to be called Allah he would have told Moses.

I don't think that the bishop has done his homework on the identity of Allah and Allah's attributes.

A side-by-side comparison would be revealing.
