Be careful here - this is a very shrewd woman. It could well be that there is nothing there. Then, a continual call from her opposition for its release may look like a witch hunt, if you’ll pardon the term.
We win in the arena of ideas. Let’s not get sidetracked and make the major issue those records, or any other side scandal. Keep the issues at the forefront and we will win every time, including this one.

Can't imagine there'd be anything damaging to Her Hillaryness' image in them if they're intact.
This story could be a ploy by her campaign to arouse suspicion, hold off releasing the documents until just before the primaries but soon enough for the news to break that her record is clean - they might even use the word "exonerated" or a similar catchy catchword - BEFORE Herself is in any danger of losing said primaries.
They've used this tactic before, after all.

She’s in our White House for 1900 days, and generates over one thousand documents a day. How can anything about a first lady be so important that 2 million pages of drivel are kept for posterity??? And who are we paying to write this crap??

Her campaign would immediately react by saying she is being unfairly attacked, she can do nothing about the law, etc.
That said, perhaps one of the “lower tier” candidates that will bow out eventually can give us a loud, strong protest as a parting gift.

People who might be sympathetic to her politics still have some distrust of her, this would feed that. But you're right as far as political courage goes. I guess it would have to be a Republican who does not have part of his own records locked up somewhere...
And we all know what you get when you drag a $100 bill through a trailer park - The Clintons.
Hell, around Mrs. Clinton a fiver would do.
