My hat is still off to you.
“Cerfing” in reference to Vint Cerf is very appropriate in regard
to what we common grunts call “surfing the Internet”.
Instead you’ve gone straight to one of the Internet godfathers!

I agree with most of your post, but I disagree that conservatives and people of faith should give up on the political process - that’s madness. From your post, you seem to favor involvement in the political process on the local level; however, you seem to exhibit much cynicism where it comes to national politics and issues.

There’s a saying that “all politics is local” and imho, that’s true, but it should not be our only focus as conservatives. National movements are possible and do effect change.

As far as RINO’s, talk show hosts, etc., are concerned, they’re just trying to desperately maintain their position, income and status. Most of what they say is nonsense, meant to curry favor with their audience at best, or their corporate advertisers, at worst. Only Catholic Saints and Buddhist monks have enough non-attachment to consistently be altruistic, lol.

Harold Ford is just pissed is he got outmaneuvered and supplanted by Barack Obama who happens to be blacker than Ford.

Hey Harold Jr... How did that Playboy party go? You remember, the one packed with Playmates in lingerie and body paint. What does that say for Women, some would say it degrades them, something you claim FR does!

Ford likes them Playboy partys with near naked women

And while we're at it, say hi to our pal, Cong. William (Cold Cash) Jefferson.

I can't decide whether I prefer that nickname or simply "Dollar Bill". Tough choice. But the same corrupt Democrat.

“we hate blacks”

We do? Damn! How did I miss that one?

I didn’t realize I had to hate good decent people simply because of their skin color in order to post here.... learn something new everyday.

I think all the playboy playmates are a cover. Mr. Ford is a loser. I don’t pay much attention to has been politicians. He should consider finding another career. With the direction his party has gone the DLC can hold their meetings in phone booths in the future.

Oh yeah. Even my dad is very upset about it. He came over in 1951 from Mexico. Before he came over, he went to the British Consulate to learn English. Then he waited his turn. INS gave him a week to cross so he did. He was never a burden on this country, worked hard for everything he has and he retired twice. He knows Mexico well, and constantly critizises their national incompetence. He’s dismayed. Oh well. ;-)

Isn't this Boss Crudup's illegitimate grandson?

BTW: My sister in Clarksville voted for this scumbag.

Best political campaign ad was about Harold Ford. Too funny. I think I’ll have to look it up on YouTube. :)

You mean Boss Crump. All sorts of wild rumors have been flying in that family for a long time now. The Fords have a lot more milk than coffee in the lineage, although some are more mocha than latte.

Perhaps your sister thought Junior was the Republican nominee ? He was running as one throughout his entire campaign. Without Fred’s help and a serious gaffe on Junior’s part, he came uncomfortably close to upending the RINO Corker (and believe me, I did not want to vote for him).

We post "nasty" (funny) things about everyone, infact it seems white males get the most harsh treatment.

Who could forget the classic Scott Ritter topics

With that said this is just another example of people saying things without doing any research.

I connected to my company VPN today and discovered that FreeRepublic is filtered by the company firewall as a "Sex" site. I suspect some lefties in network security did that. Fortunately, I don't have to operate on the company network except for brief periods when I have to access servers related to my projects.
