The association also honored boxing promoter Don King. In their speech "honoring" King, they failed to mention that he is a former bookie who went to prison for murdering two men. They also failed to mention that King is one of the most corrupt boxing promoters in the history of the "sport," and most of his victims are yonng Black men.
