Late Palestinian Authority chairman Yasser Arafat's blood contained the deadly HIV virus, Arafat's personal physician told Jordanian media over the weekend. Dr. Ashraf al-Kurdi stressed, however, that Arafat did not die of AIDS - which is caused by the virus.
Jordanian news site Amman quoted al-Kurdi - a former Jordanian health ministry official - as saying that the virus had been injected into Arafat's bloodstream close to his death, and that the real cause of the chairman's death was poison.
Hours earlier, al-Kurdi was interviewed on television news station Al-Jazeera. However, the network cut short the live interview with al-Kurdi as soon as he mentioned that the former chairman had contracted HIV.

He’s almost dead! Quick! Let’s inject him with some HIV!
WTH ???????????????????????????
Smells like the “Green helmet Guy” all over this.
Arafat’s immune system was already all shot to hell. When we test for HIV we are actually testing for the immune antibody that is made by the body in response to the HIV virus. I would suspect that his ability to have an immune response to anything injected in him for the short time he was in France was very limited. If he had antibodies to HIV he had the virus in his system before his short term stay in France and his death there.
Any Freeper doctors care to comment on this?
“In addition he obviously had dementia prior to his death. This is common with end stage HIV infection. His skin was also very mottled, and had the look of Kaposi Sarcoma which is also common with near end stage HIV infection.”
Thats exactly what I was thinking. Although I’ve never heard of Kaposi Sarcoma, I have seen identical behavior from dementia prior to HIV death, and I remember that news video when they were preparing to fly him to France when he struggled to raise his head and smile/wave to the crowd.
