This video, which I've heard is running on BET, is a sad testament to what much of the black community has become. The message is supposed to be a positive one, but it's anything but. One of the most disturbing things I've seen recently.
BET is a shadow of its former self since corporate takeover. It’s come a long way since I signed a petition to have BET on cable. It was great to see old television shows, jazz music,etc. thing that mainstream media wouldn’t have on at the time. I’ll bet they got rid of grownfolks music too.
They don’t care if you watch MTV as long as you pay for it.
This is the sad part.
Much like an unread newspaper in your driveway. They would like it if you read their propaganda but they can live with you not reading it as long as you pay for it.
As I read your post, I thought of Atlas Shrugged.

It is what gives conservatives and christians a bad name: being so damn uptight.
This video is fantastic and is a great sign that at least some in the black community are willing to take a stand against the ills that plauge it.
Unfotunately whites can’t do it without having their lives destroyed as being labled racists.
This video has been out for months. Methinks FR is slowin down these days..lol. I don’t see anything wrong with the video...it tells it like it is and it comes straight from BET themselves. It is the black community calling out the black community.

I wish 'a la carte' WERE the standard! We'd only have about 20 stations programmed to watch.
We are Dish subscribers, and we have to buy the most expensive package because I love HGTV and DIY, and we all love Science Channel, TLC, USA, Discovery Channel, and the History Channel, but the only way to get ALL of those is the full pkg. Only rarely, if we see a movie that looks good, we'll stop on Encore, but we don't even bother with getting HBO or any of the other Premium channels, because we have Netflix for movies, and we are just not interested in the series on those channels.
