How 'bout it, kiddies! Beautiful summer day, take the family for a picnic in one of our sacred national parks or forests........Why, it might likely give you a chance to teach them about tolerance and diversity.....nevermind the part where you may all be shot!

Everyday we hear of one of these stories in the Pac. NW and many other states. Last week Dallas, near Chicago, etc. etc. All Mexican Drug Cartel, many MS-13 and awol Mexican Military. Some of the peasant 'growers' brought in illegally are 'held' until the crop is in.

photos of these grows and the destruction to our national heritage here:

More on the same subject TODAY (So much for the sovereignty of a Native American Reservation):

Raid yields 40,000 pot plants on reservation [snip]

By The Associated Press

YAKIMA — In one of the biggest marijuana raids ever reported in Washington state, drug investigators said they seized about 40,000 pot plants in a closed area of the Yakama Indian Reservation.

Wiley did not give an estimated value for the haul but said high-quality marijuana is worth about $2,000 a pound and a good plant has about a pound of pot, which could make the confiscated marijuana worth as much as $80 million.

The discovery boosted the total amount of marijuana seized in about a week and a half of the helicopter operations to nearly 80,000 plants in Yakima, Klickitat, Benton and Skamania counties.

In the wake of the year’s largest previous haul, 11,000 plants, also on the Yakama reservation, Wiley said it was “Mexican drug-trafficking organizations growing out there and not members of the tribe.” Tribal leaders “are working very hard to get this activity off their lands,” he said.

I demand a debate between democrats - did they ever inhale Marijua, and should it be legalized? C’mon, it’d be fun.

My goodness. With all these plants being destroyed, the price of mj should be rising, the purity decreasing, and shortages popping up everywhere. I expect we'll see evidence of this any day now.

Much of the day Friday, a helicopter brought out load after load of marijuana plants from hillsides in the Applegate... more than 10,000 plants, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters.

Heck of a waste of good kerosene.

No kidding, enjoy your parks & forests. Oregons governor not only aides & abetts illegals, he wants to close off the coastline to fishing and boating for his !@#$ marine reserve %^&*.

Daugther & son-in-law hunting bear just North of there Friday through today.

We have a few of those illegal Mexican drug grows here on the North coast but not as many as Southern Oregon due to better growing climate down there.

Update on this story. Plus more farms found in the area last weekend.

Associated Press - August 15, 2007 11:05 PM ET

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say four men arrested in the course of raids on pot farms hidden in Southern Oregon forests this week are part of a Mexican drug cartel that is growing pot for national distribution.

In recent days teams of state police, Jackson County deputies, and federal agents have cut some 42,000 marijuana plants potentially worth more than $100 million from sites near Applegate Lake about 20 miles southwest of Medford.

The investigation goes back two years, when a U.S. Bureau of Land Management special agent found a cell phone at a campsite at a marijuana plot in Jackson County.

Authorities say all four men were being held without bail on immigration holds.
