You are a sweetheart, Cobra64.
“Forty years ago, living inColorado, we used to open carry on Saturday mornings, have breakfast with the local cops, on the way to the practice range in Eastern Aurora county. Today, I’d probably be put in jail.”
Forty years ago in my hometown we had a high school marksman club. Most of us had a gun on a rack or in a case in our cars at school. NEVER an incident, accidental or otherwise.
It was all about respect. Something you’ll never learn at school these days.

You could both be right you know.

$5,000 a pound??If only the government could figure out a way to get the price to plummet, all the ancillary crime would disappear.

My 14 year old granddaughter informed me yesterday that the notion of 'borders' was just silly and old fashioned. Now I wonder who gave her that gem of wisdom? I'd bet good money that it wasn't her Grandma B.

Thanks for the link, Aunt B. Those pictures are chilling. The National Forests are being overtaken by these people. (Not to mention the rest of the country.....)

The dopers are just following the lead of the far left drug culture.
We didn't have this modern dopehead culture and the modern 'let's legalize it' dope culture before the left were allowed to influence our children.
We can thank the 1960's lefists and hollywood reprobates for our modern drug perverted culture.

Those pictures were taken about 10 miles from my home. One farm was within 5 miles. Chilling is a good word for it.

Good grief, AuntB!
This state has gone to pot!
Thanks for the link in #35.
Those pics made me sick.
As for you, I know GrannieB will put an end to that “no borders” nonsense. ;o)

May I interrupt, here? I would like permission to remove your word “state” and inject the word “country”..........
With all due respect, of course.....

I was reading the other day...that the number one agricultural product of Alabama today...is thought to be Grass. Cotton can’t even touch it. The amazing thing...is that not one single cent of tax is gained off this. If we were talking about tobacco...then there would be at least a 25 percent tax on the stuff and we’d be rich enough to build bridges all the way to Ireland.
To: yorkie
Go for it!
I’ve been having that feeling myself.
But, I’m not quite there just yet.
Yes...I’m somewhat of a Pollyanna. ;o)
