We older people have value! We can act as a memory. I cited you the text removing only the etymology (latin vir=male)and the two numbers. The first definition ‘amazon’ was stated to be archaic. If you want further elucidation, and it is fun, go to Roget’s Thesaurus 3rd edition 1962, where the term is digested under a violent person, a vixen(as an evildoer), and a shrew.

"Now, if even Carl Bernstein is able to admit that Hillary is a liar and has a substantial lack of integrity, why would we even elect her POTUS?"

Because "we" live in a culture where image replaces reality. The media have created the 'image' of Hillary to be that of saviour of women, champion of minorities, slayer of men, and smarter than Einstein. Take a good look around and see the 'heros' and 'heroins' the media have created in the TV-warped American mind and it's easy to see why Hillary is so 'loved' by so many. "We" worship the image instead of the truth. Put another way, "we" live in fantasyland and are easily duped by those who would lie to gain power.

Am not surprised. In the same article I mentioned above, I seem to recall (a bit hazily) that the Presbyterians were losing folks at the rate of 30,000 or so a week as well. The Episcopalians went from 3.6 million baptized members to approximately 1.2 million in the same time period. Their response was to change the method of counting members. Nowadays, they say they have 3 or so million members. Impossible when they are now losing entire congregations every month.

Don’t mean to hijack this thread since it is about “Her Heinousness”.

” “we” live in fantasyland and are easily duped by those who would lie to gain power.”

So true. It takes constant vigilance and repetition to “believers” to get them to finally see who this person really is.

The Britanny,Lindsay,Paris, Anna Nicole Smith followers lump her in with them, and are Forgiving of any possible negatives.

Sex doesn’t mean a thing to Hillary. I believe she was using Bill like she is trying to use us. She has always had the office of President in her sites. As long as Bill didn’t interfer with that idea, she didn’t care what he did. Personally, I think she’s gay....it just hasn’t come out yet. That aside, this woman would be the death of this country. There are plenty of women qualified to be President........good honest women. We don’t need a yelling screaming bitch in that office.

She doesn’t scare me. No one has yet shown me that a majority of the voters will vote for her.
Dems may wax nostalgic but few of them really want the Clintons back. For that matter, few of them really admire Hillary.

You’re absolutely right. The media reinforces the image, over and over and too many of us aren’t smart enough to see through the crap. It’s the media...stupid.

With such a preponderance of damning evidence against her already widely disseminated, it strikes me as more than a little strange that this woman is not in prison or a mental institution.

It is a mystery. Quite simply she has enablers in the mainstream media who prop her up as the world's smartest woman and a secular saint and an army of sycophants to protect her.

Hillary Scares Me

Phonies are not usually scary. The main problem with phonies is that you can never know what they stand for at any given time. Their positions on issues are entirely variable as is their principles, providing they have any principles. Many do not.

Any person who benefits their agenda may find them downright desirable to be around because they always say what you what to hear. Any person who does not benefit their agenda may find themselves ignored while they concentrate on those who can benefit their agenda. Nothing scary in either case.

However, any person who can impede their agenda will find an entirely different set of circumstances. Again, not really scary, unless the phony is in a position of power. Then be scared, be very scared.

Hillary, as a case in point, carefully guards her socialist agenda and only occasionally reveals herself. Only a phony will be able to craft a campaign that can fool many of the people much of the time. Hillary has that ability. My opinion is that a socialist in power, is a very very scary proposition.

"Be afraid, be very afraid" will never be more applicable as it will be if Hillary Rodham Clinton is elected President of the United States.

That she has managed to remain not only free, but center-stage in the Democratic Party and a Senator from an "adopted" state is an indictment of our press and her Party. If she succeeds in lying and manipulating her way into the White House, it will be an indictment of us all.

We have already been indicted for re-electing her husband.....it was called 9/11.

I predicted last year that Hillary will be our next president as the Dems are united and we are not.

Well there are a lot of stupid people in the world. I can see a lot of women voting for her JUST because she would be “the first woman President”

Interviews? She does not let anyone near her would ask any type of honest, hard hitting or revealing question! If they do they are hauled off by her thugs.

I agree that Hillary would be a dreadful President - not because she’s a woman, not because she’s homosexual (if she is), but because she’s a Marxist.

However, I don’t see what difference it makes that the article’s author is a woman, either. Does she want us to believe that gives her some special insight into Hillary? Hogwash! I’m inclined to think women shouldn’t vote at all, after Bill Clinton was elected twice!

She did not care what he did because she has been able to take care of the problems ... in her very special ways!
