Dallas crime is highest in the nation, but that’s more a function of a series of corrupt city police chiefs than Sheriffs.
Sheriff’s Department mainly runs the jails. Complaints are that the jails are in horrendous condition, but as long as they aren’t escaping, doesn’t affect crime rate.

IF she is doing a good job, honestly, I don’t care. Hmmm...A crime comparison between Los Angeles and Dallas...Shows Dallas having a much higher crime per capita rate in ALL seven categories than Los Angeles, Ca.
I would image the county of Dallas would reflect these numbers as well.
