Imagine, if you will, a Republican Congressman referring to a Democrat candidate as a “bum”. What would the media fallout be?

Imagine the MSM fallout if a Republican said this about a Demagogue....... Imagine the MSM fallout if a Republican referred to a real bum as a bum...... not allowed to refer to a ‘homeless’ person that way, but it’s fine for Demagogues to refer to opposing candidates with such a word.

I have heard the word “Bum” come out of the mouths of New Yorkers all my life. Always wondered what New Yorkers consider a “bum”. What’s the NY definition of a “Bum”?
Personally don’t like the idea of Giuliani as the Republican Candidate for the Presidency, so I guess Rangell can call him a “Bum”, and I don’t care.

I can’t stand Charlie Rangel, but in all fairness, didn’t Dan Burton once call Bill Clinton a “scumbag”?
