Both Bill and Hillary Clinton were sitting with him on stage in Flushing Meadows when Graham greeted them as his "wonderful friends of many years." "I told him," Graham said of President Clinton, "when he left the presidency, he should become an evangelist, because he had all the gifts." Graham paused, and added with a smile, "And he could [let] his wife run the country."
That remark caused such a furor in some quarters that Graham's evangelist son Franklin had to explain that it was meant as a joke.
But Graham had praised and defended both Clintons before. And in a new interview, Hillary

He’s especially good at lying. He loves lawyers and homosexuals too.
No thanks, Billy. The clergy has taken enough hits lately.

Is that a quote from Caiaphas? As a matter of fact, yes. As translated by the Man himself!

Could it be that even his Lord sat down with prostitutes, thieves, and the worst of all, tax collectors?
I'm sure my feelings are wrong about this. In my mind, I find it an alien concept that the Clintons could ever become true Christians. Mr. Graham's faith is stronger than mine, I guess.

I also have great doubts but it is not up to us but the work of the Holy Spirit. So I leave that in His hands.

Christ PRAYED for prostitutes, thieves, and the worst of all, tax collectors. He did not PRAISE them. Billy Graham should follow THAT example. Pray for the clintons, not praise them.

It is a dilemma and I can not stand the Clintons she is evil and he is well he is.....
As an evangelical Christian I believe Christ wishes none to perish
Christ Changes lives and can even change Bill and Hillary. Likelihood it will happen is slim but I never put God in a box.

As a matter of fact, yes. As translated by the Man himself! Somehow, I don't think it will help you to refer to that, at the Great White Throne.

Well it is all well and good I suppose to love and respect, but this preacher does NOT know his Bible. There is nothing about OLD Bill Clinton that makes him a representative of giving Bible instructions. And further the anointing of Hillry Clinton as the first woman after already serving 8 years as co-president without ever taking responsibility for one act she made happen, demonstrates this preacher, well I let whom ever fill in the blank, but the preacher did not get the instruction from the Bible or from the Heavenly Father.
Billy Graham does not know the Bible? Did you actually say that? Billy Graham, who has been preaching the gospel for 60 years? Who is responsible for bringing millions upon millions of people all over the world to Christ? That good man, that tireless preacher, that servant of God doesn't know his Bible because he chooses to give the Clinton's kindness, respect, forgiveness, and understanding? I think it makes Rev. Graham the greater man and it makes the Clinton's even more weak, pathetic and hypocritical to receive a blessing they so obviously do not deserve. For Hillary to name-drop Billy Graham and reveal what had to be a very private and personal moment in order to benefit her campaign is beyond disgusting. But it reflects badly on her, not Rev. Graham. Furthermore, the comment was made when the Clintons were still in the White House, long before there was any thought of Hillary actually becoming President. It was hardly a political endorsement. Finally, if every Christian understood the Bible the same way we wouldn't be divided into Catholic, Protestant, Charismatic, Evangelical, Pentecostal, etc, much less hundreds of denominations. If you want to criticize someone for not understanding the Bible, don't pick the most powerful, influential, and beloved Protestant in the world.

There was nothing private about what Billy Graham said, he brought the two narcissist right upon his stage in an whatever you want to label it somewhere in New York a few years back. I watched it on the tube with my own eyes. Hillry Clinton is NOT name dropping this was a public religious/campaign event.
Furthermore I know a few of Mr. Graham’s followers and they were and still are supporters of the Clintons, even now pounding the pavement to get the woman elected.
And yes I said Mr. Graham does not know the Bible. There is more to the Gospel than Jesus saves and do you love Jesus, I know cause I have read it.

Rev. Graham also had Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes on the stage with him during his final Crusade in NYC. His focus, and the focus of his ministry, is not politics. He’s also over 80 years old. When he grew up and became a Democrat the party was very different than it is today. His position disappoints me, but I completely understand how an elderly man can be left behind in understanding popular culture and current events. No one would be talking about his politics if Hillary hadn’t mentioned his name. For you to continue to assert that Rev. Graham is ignorant of Scripture because you don’t like his politics is incredibly arrogant.

Wait a minute you claimed earlier this was a private utterance, way back while the Clintons were in office at the White House.... now that I demonstrate that it was a public/religious campaign come to Jesus event you now make excuses for age and Hillry using an old man for her political purposes. HA
I had lots to say when it happened and there were some who did what you seem to need to do chastise me for picking upon the most famous revivalist of the modern era. There is nothing arrogant about pointing out that somebody that claims something is ignorant simply because I know what the good Book says and there is nothing in the good Book about the path to 'salvation being answered by a couple of know nothing questions like..... do you love Jesus and are you saved!!!! Do you know there are two Jesus and the fake shows up first and those women working in the field that leave the field are the deceived?????? Or maybe you think you are toooooo good to get left behind for a tribulation????

Bill Clinton is fantastically charismatic. He is intensely persuasive. Certainly these are great traits for an evangalist.
But he is as depraved as a man can get. If satan is the father of lies, then Bill is his first born.
I would like to think that Graham believes that one could become the most fabulous evangalizer the world has ever known- while possesing none of this depraved slickness at all, but rather by being consumed by the holy spirit of God.
It tells me that Graham is coming to realize that his whole life and ministry has been nothing more than one big super-slick sham which served no purpose other than to seperate the humble and faithful masses from their money.

See the difference?
