Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul began running television campaign ads Tuesday in Iowa.
The spots for the Texas congressman began just days before a straw poll in the first presidential nominating state.
The 30-second ads will be in rotation in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Sioux City.
Campaign spokesman Jesse Benton declined to reveal the cost.
The ad features Paul speaking to a crowd of supporters while an announcer repeats the Texan's fiscally conservative campaign themes.
Various statements flash across the screen, including "Stop the national I.D. Card."
Benton said the ad, the first of two for TV, will be accompanied by similar radio spots.

It seems to me that a congressman should not propose something he does not support. That is not a straightforward way to operate. It looks like your Saint Ron Paul has a bit of a devious side. As I said, that would be the case if he made any pretense of actually supporting the earmarks. He hasn't, so it isn't.

Of course he does.
You can’t name a single candidate responsible for less pork who has held the power of the purse.

Since he proposed it, not voting for it is misleading and devious. You might try to spin it like your master has instructed you to spin his actions, but it is still devious. And did those who asked him to propose the spending know up front that he would not vote for it himself???? I doubt it.

tell us why 17 Saudis attacked us on 9/11? Jihad.

Interestingly, Ron Paul leads in all of the majors cities “google trends” posted, except for DC and St Louis, MO. In those cities, McFred leads. Figures that insider McFred leads in DC.

It took you all night to find that word? Well, at least you found another way to say they attacked us because they hate us for our freedom.
If the answer to why 17 Saudis attacked us on 9/11 is jihad, then why does your hero, George W. Nixon describe Islam as a religion of peace? Why is he giving thousands of them visas?

Leaving someone else’s country is not surrender. Your newspeak would fit great into an Orwell novel.

And did he propose spending measures that others voted for? Would those spending measures even be in consideration IF Ron Paul had not proposed them?
To: Martins kid
Give it up. He doesn’t support pork barrel spending, even in his own district. You lose.

I just get tired of the disingenuous or simply ignorant usage of the term surrender in reference to leaving someone else's country. The simple facts are that we won way back when Bush flew to the USS Lincoln and announced that we had won. Actually, winning the undeclared war was just as easy as the cheerleaders had said it would be. However, we didn't have the good sense to say, "Yay, we won. Let's go home," back when we won. Instead, we've hung around and managed to turn a win into a total disaster.

That’s because, way back when, we weren’t trying to fight a “pc war”. When that happens, the war’s over...you can’t win that kind of “war.”

We disagree about some things, but thank you for your service to our country.
