Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul began running television campaign ads Tuesday in Iowa.
The spots for the Texas congressman began just days before a straw poll in the first presidential nominating state.
The 30-second ads will be in rotation in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Sioux City.
Campaign spokesman Jesse Benton declined to reveal the cost.
The ad features Paul speaking to a crowd of supporters while an announcer repeats the Texan's fiscally conservative campaign themes.
Various statements flash across the screen, including "Stop the national I.D. Card."
Benton said the ad, the first of two for TV, will be accompanied by similar radio spots.

“Eat more shrimp.”
I wish I could, but sometimes it gives me the gout which I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I’m doing the same thing - protecting and defending the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic and from crazy people like Ron Paul.

Thank you, CJ Wolf!
DugwayDuke and JoinJuniorAchievement, check out CJ Wolf’s post #77. It was Henry Hyde, not Dennis Hastert who called the Constitution “anachronistic”.

"Now, does your collective IQ break into double digit territory? It's a simple question. Why did 17 Saudis attack us on 9/11? (Hint: It wasn't a conspiracy...it happened.)" Surely you've thought about why? Haven't you?
Please take a breather from listening to yourself speak for a minute......Ron's on and he paid good money for his ad. -
My name is Ron Paulnut and I approve this message: To al Qaeda and the enemies of the US, you have nothing to fear from me, I will make our military surrender to you. If I had my way, Saddam would still be in power to rape and murder the innocent. He was not a threat to us or the world, just his people of Iraq, which I do not care about. I am no friend of Israel, so they better get used to the fact, I will let them get wiped off the map. Vote for me and I will let our international friends down. I am Ron Paulnut and I approve this message.
Short but accurate. I have to say, I like it. Money well spent to attract voters for his vision of a better world for our children.

He is protecting that UN version, it’s not the same “anachronistic” one we are protecting. Watch out, He might call us old school next.

I’m seeing FReepers say the similar things. “If the Founders were alive today, they wouldn’t say ‘no entangling alliances’” and such blather as that. As if the founding principles of our Constitution no longer apply.

When you investigate a murder — looking for a motive is expected. Identifying the motives for the attack does not justify it.
They are likely victims of neocon propaganda.

Y’know, cutting and pasting a response from earlier is NOT an answer to the question.
Just thought I’d offer a helpful hint, since you seem more confused than usual, even.

We know that, but the neo-con-Paul-haters don’t know how to respond to that very simple question and now they are reduced to muttering to themselves...over and over again.

So you gonna cut and paste that again? I’ve only seen it four times.
