CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . Im tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?
HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we dont have that in place. IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW WITH THE DEMOCRATS NOW IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT. But you know, for top level policy theres not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isnt going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

Why? Doesn’t the plot entail forcing us to all speak Spanish in reeducation camps anyway?
Now that's funny. But of course the plug was pulled, so to speak, so the world will never know...
Good job Jim. Take it too them in spades.
Yes, I must admit that is my guilty pleasure -— and my 15-year-old son has downloaded that episode to his laptop. I know: “Bad mom! Bad, bad mom!”
What a hoot!
Honestly, it is very difficult to remain civil here.
Opening post. Read it. He said it. Defend it other than Ron Paul saying he is not a truther.
Bill Clinton: I did not have sex with that woman.
He did have sex with that woman. He made the decision to lie to the press as it would be very bad politically for him to tell the truth.
Ron Paul willingly went on a truther radio show. Ron Paul willingly took questions from truther callers. Ron Paul made this statement.
That has not been debunked.
Sorry, but that simply isn’t true. I asked her several times to explain what the heck she was talking about and she didn’t. So don’t pretend the plug was pulled. She was being evasive. Now, I really have to get dinner started. Time to get the MREs from the bunker!
Except that this thread started yesterday, and she bowed out when she was over her head. So not buying it.
If the worst thing that my son, who is almost 6, watches in 9 years is South Park, I will consider myself extremely lucky.
He wants to watch it with me now because he thinks all cartoons are for kids. My wife runs across the room at a speed that would put an Olympic sprinter to shame and simultaneously hits the OFF button on the remote and yells at me at the same time for watching it on TIVO when she comes home.
Let him watch it. As you know, after 9 hours of public school education and indoctrination, it’s good for him to hear the libertarian, right wing point of view...it’s guaranteed to make him HATE LIBERALS.
Happy eating.
What part of “screaming kids” do you not understand? Mercy.
Oh, I agree with that. When I see you trying to smear Paul with innuendo, character assassination and guilt by association I have trouble treating you with any respect at all. Maybe if you tried facts things would go more smoothly. Have you ever thought about that? I know it would probably seem kind of weird, but you might give it a try.
Opening post. Read it. He said it.
Read it. A long time ago.
Bill Clinton: I did not have sex with that woman. He did have sex with that woman. He made the decision to lie to the press as it would be very bad politically for him to tell the truth.
With all of the desperate accusations I've seen thrown at Ron Paul, this is the first time I've ever seen someone accuse him of hiding his views for political expediency. I think it's safe to say that if Ron Paul were a truther, he would have come right out and said so.
Ron Paul willingly went on a truther radio show. Ron Paul willingly took questions from truther callers. Ron Paul made this statement.
However, Ron Paul has not accused the U.S. government of being behind 9/11. A minor detail, I know.
That has not been debunked.
Ron Paul voted for the use of force against the Taliban and Al Qaeda. In other words, Al Qaeda did it.
Speaking on the September 11th attacks, Paul said, "Have you ever read the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there; we've been bombing Iraq for 10 years." In other words, Al Qaeda did it.
When asked, "the suggestions from these people that you were talking to in this video that 9/11 was orchestrated by the government, you do not support that theory?" Paul answered, "Absolutely not." In other words, Al Qaeda did it.
When asked by reason magazine, "The position of the Student Scholars is that 9/11 was executed by the U.S. government. Do you agree or disagree with that?" Paul responded, "I'd say there's no evidence of that." In other words, Al Qaeda did it.
It's been debunked so many times that it's hardly worth going over again. Stop wasting my time and everyone else's time with this 3 month old, already debunked crap. Ping me when you have something of substance. Remember, for maximum effect it should include facts. Otherwise I will simply make you look foolish again.
Worked for me. I usually stay off political threads here, but this was definitely illuminating.
SJackson: JTN, at wifebeaters anonomous (apologies if there is such a thing) do you beat your wife.
JTN: I'd say there's no evidence of that
In other words, Al Qaeda did it.
Right, that may be how you would answer the question, but most people can answer it unequivocally.
As in, No I don't beat my wife.
Paul looks for support in these places, nutballs vote too after all, and he doesn't get much support in the Republican mainstream.
And yes, I know he's a "true Republican", or a "true conservative", of whatever term you care to dream up.
He looks like a loon, he behaves like a loon, he associates with loons, he comes across as a loon, he makes statements that are loony. What are people really suppose to conclude from that? I can however, imagine a situation where Paul might even be something needed for the country. It’s hard do do, but I have a vivid imagination. But the circumstances we face are very far removed from the needs of someone like he. Our needs are way beyond him.
That he's a true conservative" and the savior of the Republican Party.
That's what I'm told
He has answered it unequivocally. Remember, "Absolutely not"? I gave you four examples of Ron Paul denying any belief in "trutherism". If you want to pick his weakest denial so you can continue to try to claim that he's a truther, then hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.
And in the future, please preview before posting.
Delusional. I can’t help it Rudy and McCain are afraid of facing Iowa voters. They’re also afraid of You Tube. Tough guys for sure.
Your observation is right on the money (Post 508). I think you will like the article titled: The moral lessons of Hiroshima http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?id=4648
