Trutheriness and Ron Paul (Michelle Malkin) [Ron Paul Says The Darnedest Things!]
Michelle Malkin ^ | May 19, 2007 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 08/05/2007 5:34:39 PM PDT by Lovebloggers

CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I’m tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don’t have that in place. IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW WITH THE DEMOCRATS NOW IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT. But you know, for top level policy there’s not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn’t going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

Political worship holds a pretty good grip on the rest. Maybe we should meet in the middle ,we all love our nation, family, troops and our God, Asking questions is the most patriotic thing we can do . “We are the people “ of the United States, we are to lead not serve our ‘servants in office ‘.We stopped doing this and now our republic is being defeated .

Yup. Don't get me wrong. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is our Savior. But to suggest there are more credible witness accounts of that than there are of 19 Muslim extremists hijacking and crashing jets on 9/11? I'm stunned that someone actually believes that!

You and I have no common ground on the Scriptures. I dispute your characterization of how and when they were authored. Call me what you will. Judge me as you will. I pray God’s best for you.

I hold truthers in complete contempt - they undermine the need for unity in the face of the Islamist threat.

Maeve is not a truther, and she is all-too-aware of the Islamist threat.

“Please read his statement in context — it was in reply to the caller’s comments which include “I’m tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism.””

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Well, that makes a big difference.

e is not a truther,

Yeah, so her statement here:

That 19 Muslim fanatics with boxcutters led by a man in a cave were able to outsmart the CIA, FBI, DIA and other agencies and then take hold of four passenger jets and that they were never intercepted by our own Air Force...... That is one conspiracy theory on its own that is simply unbelievable.

Is not at least of the Government Let It Happen variety of trutherism, if not something more?

she is all-too-aware of the Islamist threat.

Anyone who thinks al Qaeda is incapable of pulling off something like 9-11 without the help of the US government is not cognizant of the Islamist threat.

I am well aware of the Islamist threat which is far worse today because of Saudi money building Islamic mosques and centers all across the fruited plain.

“Why don’t you try acknowledging that Malkin wasn’t lying, for starters?”

She, and now you are both lying. Ron Paul has stated over and over that he does not believe 911 was contrived (an inside job.) To suggest he believes so is totally dishonest.
Why don’t you try telling the truth?

“Her quotes were accurate.”

They were not. They were taken from the student truther’s version. The video link you offered as evidence contained no evidence as to the claims made. ZERO NADA ZILCH

“You didn’t like the message, so you accused the messenger.”

And the message has been refuted several times over. You are the one refusing to accept the truth.

” Then when it was proved she wasn’t lying, suddenly it doesn’t matter what the message was because he was just being polite to a truther. If what he said doesn’t matter, why did you accuse Malkin of lying about what he said?”

Because she did.

” Furthermore, this wasn’t merely a 9/11 truther showing up at one of his events. He attended an event hosted by the Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth. If he doesn’t want to be lumped with 9/11 Truthers, he might want to stop pandering to them for votes! “

Your biggest lie yet. Even Malkin has apologized for lying about that in the first place. Malkin:” I also stated that Paul appeared on campus with Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth. THIS IS INCORRECT. The incident I was referring to was an exchange that took place at a campaign house party, not during an on-campus joint appearance, as I mistakenly stated. I regret the errors and am forwarding this post to The Big Story producers so that they can air these corrections if they wish to do so.” Michelle Malkin

Here’s the truth. Since the SC debate where Paul accused illegal govt entanglements in foreign matters for 911, Malkin has attempted to link him to 911 truthers. She will do anything to make the link. Even lie. And she has lied. Sometimes she corrects her lies as she did above, and sometimes she insists upon believing her own lies.

Dr Paul is not an advocate for 911 truthers. That’s a fact.
Dr Paul was accosted by a student “scholar” truther for 911 at a campaign meeting. That’s a fact. He was not at a 911 truther meeting. That’s a fact. In that interview, Dr Paul never said 911 was an inside job. That’s a fact. Yes, he did say he believes that some elements of govt investigations are covered up. That’s a fact. (It’s also a fact that cover ups do occur. Anyone believing otherwise is a blind bleating sheep.)

If you are going to attempt to support the lies regarding Dr Paul from a stalkin Malkin blog, or her pundit post at FNC, then you and the others will be called on it. Your lies will not go unanswered. Her lies have been exposed. The video does not present what she (stalkin Malkin) suggests. At least she admitted he was not where she said he was. But that does not elevate her credibility one iota with me.

OK, dispute with me all you will about how they were authored, but we have no first-hand accounts and certainly no audio recordings from the witnesses as we do with 9/11 victims. Now why don’t you answer me directly. Do you believe that 19 Muslim extremists hijacked 4 airliners and crashed them on 9/11. Yes or no?

Sure you do. You think al Qaeda was incapable of pulling off 9-11 without government help, but, hey, you understand the threat from Islamists.

Al-Qaida has many sources of help, but that aid need not have come from our own government. But are there spies and infiltrators in our government who would do anything possible to harm us? Yes, I believe that because it has been proven to be true time and again. Did they aid al-Qaida? I don’t know one way or the other. But it isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. In general my questions about 9/11 have much more to do with issues that revolve around Saudi Arabia than anything else.

I'm of the same mind. I believe that Christ died on the Cross for our sins and was resurrected. I am a believer.

But to even compare the witnessing of that and the witnessing of 9/11 in such a manner is just bizarre to me.

It is common courtesy to ping the person you are talking about. I don't know what her complete theory is. We already know that there were government failures.

Anyone who thinks al Qaeda is incapable of pulling off something like 9-11 without the help of the US government is not cognizant of the Islamist threat.

A matter of disagreement. We know that the people who kept our borders vulnerable have their agenda.

It is IMMENSELY rude to tell someone what she thinks.

Anyone who has visited the community of McLean, Virginia, just across the river from DC, is aware of the compound the Saudis have there.

"To suggest he believes so is totally dishonest. Why don’t you try telling the truth?" Please cite for me where in this article Malkin suggests he believes so.

"They were not. They were taken from the student truther’s version. The video link you offered as evidence contained no evidence as to the claims made." Please cite for me, specifically, where Malkin misquotes what Paul has said on that tape. How can a video tape be a "version". The interview either happened or it didn't. Or are you suggesting the student truther audio-dubbed false words to match Paul's lips?

"And the message has been refuted several times over. You are the one refusing to accept the truth." What on earth are you babbling about. She QUOTED Ron Paul. Either you like what Ron Paul said or you don't. But you can't accuse Malkin of lying when she merely offers direct quotes from a video.

"Because she did." Fine, then you should be able to point me to the quotes she attributed to Paul that he did not say.

That was from her own post that was pulled. #23. Her own words.

You’re on a roll today.

So now it's rude to quote someone's own words? Talk about being on a roll. You Paulites are becoming self-pardoy.
