Harry Reid is the natural choice but I'll go on a limb and suggest Obama. The purity of a former Illinois legislator has never been questioned, nor even mentioned. The coup de grace against a Hillary annoyance.

"Democratic leader who is mobbed up."

Oh gosh!! Please tell me that Ted Kennedy or John Kerry are finally going to get their comeuppance.

In my opinion, all Massachusetts Senators, Congressmen, State Senators, State Reps, Mayors, etc. are mobbed-up and it shows.

If these guys actually have something they better report it.

Once they talk the mob would have a harder time "eliminating' them, right now they are simply accident prone.

Look at Dick Morris, he knows where the bodies are in the clinton gang and he stays in front of the camera, so he can stay alive.

Nation's David Corn

If it is true that THIS weirdo is after a Dem, I'll be shocked.

Oh no. Not Dan Moldea again.

Old timers like me will certainly recognize that name here at FR.

I agree on Obama..... Hillary and the crew are starting to feel the heat so they will allow this story.

Dan Moldea said he and Nation's David Corn are shopping around a completed story

That sounds like they are withholding information until they receive a price for the information. So if the interested party wrote a check to not publish the story, who gains then?

I sure hope their insurance is paid up. Look what happens to Kennedys and Clintons “friends”.

Dan Moldea and David Corn?

Without knowing the who or what of the story, we already can guess the upshot. If you can’t make facts go away, the next best thing is to have messengers like this. Whether it’s by luck or design, the target of this expose’ can kick back and breathe a sigh of relief.

Carl Rove recently told a group of Republican congressmen that they lost the majority because of the corruption more than the Iraq war. (i.e. Cunningham and Foley.

IF in fact this is the case, you would have to imagine the Dems would be all over this weeks raid of Senator Steven's home and linking it with Republicans.

However, earily, this was not the case. Maybe more is known about this story and its impending affects on the Democrats.

Also, my hope it would be Schumer. To modify a quote from one of the biggest jerks to ever roam Washington, "I want to see Shumer Frog-marched out of the Rayburn Senate Building"

Probably not Obama. The Chicago mob wouldn't trust a black politician to do anything. I think you're more likely right on Reid. Nevada. Vegas. Mob. Politics. They all go together.

On the other hand, who are the leading Dem politicians from New Jersey these days? After Tony Soprano got wacked, the mob may need all the political juice they can muster.

I can’t believe David Corn would go after a dim. I remember him from the Clinton years. One disgusting dim lackey.

If he is going after a dim, my guess it is a candidate. Who’s his pick for pres? Hillary?

If that’s the case I pick O’Bama.
