possible dry run

Not very likely in a submarine.

Was it a yellow submarine?

Was there a koran and prayer rugs aboard?

If they’d disclose the men’s names, I could tell you if it was terrorism-related or not.

I’d be curious as to their names.

They were bridge inspectors, no doubt.

We should definately punish our technically-minded and adventurous people. Don’t they know that this sort of foolishness needs to be outsourced?

I believe it was the Instapundit site that had some private submarine links up not to long ago.

Seems to be coming a popular thing. I'll bet he has something on this before the day is out.

>> apparently attempting to set sail off Brooklyn in a makeshift submarine-type vessel

How exactly does one “set sail” in a submarine? It seems terribly inefficient to run up the mainsail underwater... :)

No threatening devices or materials were found on board the vessel.

Probably just a half empty keg.

What exactly is a “makeshift, submarine-type vessel”, I wonder.
